* SuicidalPacifism: Emmeryn always tries to seek a peaceful non violent solution to the conflicts stirred by Gangrel, when it is very clear that Gangrel and his Grimleal allies, are completely evil and have no morality to speak of. [[spoiler: Emmeryn gets over this after she gets amnesia, having learned some people have to be killed.]]

* BadassPacifist: Among the Ylisseans shown in the first part of the game, she's the only one who seeks a peaceful solution to the conflict stirred by Gangrel, despite the latter being all but deaf to her pleas.

* PuritySue: An in-universe subversion and deconstruction. Subverted in that she ''isn't'' one, but she pretends to be in order to inspire her people. Deconstructed in that Gangrel, who already has his own reasons for hating Ylisse, just gets infuriated by what he sees as her high-and-mighty attitude. Her own thoughts prior to [[spoiler:her HeroicSacrifice]] in Chapter 9 reveal that she actually has her doubts about whether or not it will do any good -- but she goes through with it anyway, simply to ''try'' and live up to the image she's cultivated... [[spoiler:and she gets TraumaInducedAmnesia as a result.]]

* RedeemingReplacement: She dedicated most of her rule to undoing the hardships her father's warmongering ways enacted on Ylisse and its neighboring countries. From all accounts, she was mostly successful.

* StupidGood: Her main flaw is that she is a little too stubbornly devoted to pacifism even when [[TheCaligula Gangrel]] continuously provokes Ylisse and sends brigands to ransack their villages.
