One thing that is often noted is that Lex is actually quite sincere about how he treats his employees, and he has respect for blue-collar people who go beyond their means to get ahead (since he used to be one as well).

However Gorilla Grodd's Oracle File indicates he withdrawn his support.

* SuperToughness: More than once, Lex's medical records have indicated a much higher than average white blood cell count, however these have been labeled as errors. But the work of late Network asset Faceless suggests that these indicate that Lex has a resistance to poison, disease, and various other life-threatening conditions such as exposure to radiation.
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Lex got himself elected to president of the United States. He endorsed and advertised to give amnesty of Alien immigrants to form The Advena Legion.
** As President, Luthor has championed universal healthcare, justice reform (including no longer enforcing federal bans on recreational and medicinal uses of marijuana), and extensive immigration (including extraterrestrial immigration) reform. He has also championed the second amendment, the rights of corporations, and slashed defense spending by considerable margins. He holds a 85% public approval rating.
