An incredibly powerful and vain sorceress. Thaegan is one of the major villains in the series, similar to the traditional interpretation of an evil fairytale witch. Her favorite food is a live raven; she apparently ate Kree's parents. The only way she can die is if a single drop of her blood hits the ground. Thaegan turned the city of D'Or into the site of the Lake of Tears with, its occupants turned into various sea creatures. When the Ralads had known of her treachery, spoke out against her, she used her magic to render them mute. By the time the Shadow Lord took over Deltora, Thaegan became one of his most powerful allies and her power grew with his dominance.

Cry For The Devil is a YMMV {{trope} that involves the baddie having a sad backstory that comes to light and I used a more fitting trope. Additionally, the link Manipulative Bitch does work and Karmic Death doesn't apply if a hero kills the villain in question. Also, indentation, a couple unneeded spaces, and How To Write An Example states we're allowed to use gendered redirects. Lastly, Villainous Parental Instinct is a Sub Trope of Even Evil Has Loved Ones.
