'''WARNING: [[WalkingSpoiler Todd's character plays such a huge role in the final season's developments that practically all of his tropes were once spoiler-tagged]]. Though the tags have been removed for aesthetic purposes, massive spoilers still follow below.'''

* WalkingSpoiler: The moment that Todd kills a child, the show changes forever. From then on, every action he takes has drastic consequences for everyone around him.

* AxCrazy: [[spoiler: His response to Jesse demanding a measly sum of cash is to challenge him to a ''duel to the death'' and seems to be very bloodthirsty by the way he stares him down.]] Given his reasonably pragmatic personality presented before, this psychosis may be a result of being high on cocaine and alcohol at the time.

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Jack is a Neo-Nazi, although his political and racial views aren't really given any attention aside from some irritation at political correctness and his disdain for federal law enforcement. If it weren't for the swastikas and SS tattoos, there would be nothing in his behavior which reveals him as a Nazi sympathizer. TruthInTelevision, as the Aryan Brotherhood is now widely seen as more interested in money and power than promoting white nationalism.

Added an entry for Final Boss in Jack's folder in reference to his role in the original series

* DiscOneFinalBoss: Played with. In the context of the main series, he's the final threat of Walter's story, but is this from Jesse's perspective, whose story properly concludes in ''Film/ElCamino''.

This is the reason [[spoiler:why he keeps the meth business alive: despite believing that he and his gang will never need to make any more drug money, he wants to help Todd impress Lydia.]] Their actors even came up with a backstory for the two of them, in which Jack took Todd from his sister for his own protection after she kept bringing too many abusive boyfriends home.

** While he's not above killing or enslaving someone, Jack openly expresses disdain for the type of savagery criminals like Gustavo Fring or the Salamancas engage in. [[spoiler:When he's put into the same situation with Hank as Marco, he quickly shoots him down on the spot, not [[BondVillainStupidity run back to his car to find an exotic weapon to ritualistically kill him with]].]] Additionally, when Walt [[spoiler:orders a hit on Jesse]], Jack says he respects the order to make it quick and painless, saying that there's too many "savages" out there.

** Both men are crude and politically incorrect individuals with a borderline irrational disdain for a certain group of people (junkies in Hank's case, cops in Jack's) and who can be underestimated due to their joker demeanor, but in actuality they're highly intelligent and cunning. Despite this, Hank mostly does most of his dirty work himself, while Jack often has his nephew and his men pull off the more complicated hits.
** They also both happen to be role-models to their respective nephews, [[spoiler:though [[TheSociopath Todd]] seems to get over Jack's demise much quicker than [[BreakTheCutie Walt Jr]]'s with Hank's]].
** Jack mocking Jesse's tearful confession video after his enslavement also a dark mirror to Hank's laughing at Gale's silly music video after his death.

* FatalFlaw: Jack's hatred of snitches/rats. [[spoiler: It gets him killed. When Walt came to the clubhouse, Jack and his gang were already planning to kill him. But just Walt saying that they were partnering with Jesse - a rat in Jacks eyes, who he promised Walt he would kill later - was enough to keep Walt alive and show him that Jesse is a slave rather than a partner. * OutsideGenreFoe: This is what truly makes Jack Welker so dangerous in the context of the narrative. In the world of Breaking Bad, Meth is king. Not for Jack though, he isn't concerned with becoming a druglord, or building a meth empire and he's not a druggie or some cartel enforcer. Jack is quite simply a Neo-Nazi mercenary whose first solution to every problem is to kill it, he'd be right at home as the villain of some gritty action movie. No one has any way to counter him because his firepower and resources are far outside the capabilities of the rest of the remaining characters, [[spoiler: including Hank and Gomez.]] If he encountered half the situations that Walter White did, he would've murdered them on the spot. Jack is so disconnected from the other conflicts in the show that [[spoiler: the moment Walter promises him 10 million dollars of unlaundered dirty money, he immediately gives up on the empire and decides to just cash it in.]]

* SlidingScaleOfVillainThreat: An {{Inversion}}. He is definitely lower on the villain totem pole than Gus Fring or the Juarez Cartel, and at best is probably on the level of the Salamanca family who have been around since season 1. He isn't anywhere near as ambitious as the other villains either (including Walt), being content to outright retire if he gets enough cash. Yet, he proves to be the final villain of the show, making up for his lack of scope and influence with sheer ruthlessness and the personal impact he has on the main characters.

* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Todd's moral compass is calibrated differently, to put it lightly. Todd is always a big people pleaser, childlike, and seems nice to everyone. Nonetheless he shows zero remorse over killing a child, torturing and enslaving Jesse, and killing his girlfriend, yet he still thinks Jesse is his friend. This could be interpreted that Todd never fully understands how awful his actions truly are nor how they would cause people to hate him.

* CaptainOblivious: He doesn't realize that Jesse, the man he enslaved, treated like an animal, and whose girlfriend he killed, hates and despises him with every fiber of his being, and Jesse doesn't even try very hard to make a secret of this fact, constantly shooting absolutely withering {{Death Glare}}s in Todd's general direction, which he also completely fails to notice. In fact, it seems like it never even occurs to Todd that Jesse has plently of very good and understable reasons for hating him and wanting him dead; never once does he think of Jesse as anything other than a friend.
