%%* * HeroicNeutral: Initially. She's initially hesitant to jump into the fray against chiropterans, and remains reluctant to fight early on. She ultimately [[NeutralNoLonger gives in]] once [[spoiler:George, her adoptive father, is killed by them]].

* GreenEyes: A trait they all share. In the case of Gudriff, he wears green sunglasses.

* TragicDream: They simply want to be free and cured of the Thorn.

Thorn. [[spoiler: The scientist they interrogated directed them towards a poison instead.]]
* UndyingLoyalty: To They are absolutely committed to each other.other because they were born and raised together, escaped together and now seek a cure together.

Added DiffLines:

* MercyKillArrangement: She made Haji promise to kill her once they finally succeed at killing Diva, in order to end the chiropteran threat once and for all. [[spoiler:Ultimately, however, Haji and Kai convince her not to go through with it and go on living.]]

* NonActionGirl: She doesn't participate in fights unlike most of her friends and allies. In her defense, she's untrained and completely normal in a world full of supernatural and/or highly trained agents, so her role is relegated to supporting them from the sidelines.

* ScaryBlackMan: Initially {{zigzagged}}. He looks normal in his human form, but gets incredibly intimidating in his chiropteran form, being a formidable enemy literaly MadeOfIron. [[spoiler: His human form totally fills the bill after his SanitySlippage, becoming even nastier and sporting disturbing grins while mocking his enemies.]]

* AscendedExtra: She got no lines (opther than grunts) during her first appearences, and her role was as secondary as most of the Schiffs not named Moses, Karman or Irene. She starts having dialogues and more screentime starting from the Paris arc, and eventually [[spoiler: replaces Irene as the main female Schiff after her death.]]
* BadassAdorable: She's small, cute and cheerful, while also being able to kill chiropterans easily and hold her own against Chevaliers.

* GenkiGirl: Very energetic and cheerful, especially comparing to his fellows Schiff, who are embittered, cynic or sad..

Saya). He's not exactly sane in his normal facet, mind you, just that he knows to mask his sanity better in his public persona.
* TheBrute: He tends to rely on brute force most of the times and due his insanity, he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Diva herself takes advantage of this to bring him [[spoiler: to her attack on the Red Shield HQ.]]

* DeathSeeker: Because of Diva's reject, Karl felt very lonely. For that, when he saw Saya's rampage in Vietnam, he fell in love with her and desired to die with her because he believed that Saya and him were solitary persons. [[spoiler: Unfortunately for him, Saya didn't share the same belief.]]
* DudeLooksLikeALady: He wears an ao dai, which isn't exclusively a woman's garment, but it's certainly most common.

EvilIsHammy: [[spoiler: Especially after he reveals himself to be the Phantom.Phantom, when he talks in a melodramatic, over the top way.]]

%%* InLoveWithYourCarnage: To Saya. Also, it's implied, to Diva.

to:

%%* * InLoveWithYourCarnage: To Saya. After seeing Saya's rampage in Vietnam (in which he lost one of his arms) he felt madly in love with this side of her, to the point of becoming totally obssessed with her. Also, it's implied, to Diva. implied he feels this way towards Diva too.

* SanitySlippage: Before becoming a Chevalier, he was a sane and normal young man. However, after Amshel's experiments on him, he turned mad and obsessed with Diva (and later with Saya)

%%* StalkerWithACrush: To Saya.

to:

%%* * StalkerWithACrush: To Saya.Saya, to unsuspected limits.

* BatOutOfHell: The normal chiropterans already look like monstrous, giant bats, but Diva's Chevaliers take the trope UpToEleven when they go in their OneWingedAngel forms. Amshel looks like a gigantic, purple bat with a bulged stomach able to use a BreathWeapon; Karl has a reptile-like head, sporting huge claws and sharp teeth; James is an armored chiropteran whose expressions always makes him look angry, and Nathan's looks like a mix between a bat and a praying mantis, being quite tall himself. Solomon is a subdued version, since he becomes a beige colored chiropteran with long hair, but doesn't has the menacing and/or monstrous features of his brothers.

* TheUnfought: Nathan is the only Chevalier of Diva that never fights the Red Shield (except one time that he restrains Haji a bit). Not even in the ending of the series do we see him show his powers. One opening of the series is made rather infamous for spoiling his Chiropteran form and implying he will be a major opponent fighting alongside the rest of his associates.

* BigBadWannabe: At the start of the anime one would think that he's the one behind the chiropterans' appearance. Promotional posters and images also help with this possibility. However, when Solomon and Karl appear in the Vietnam arc, one realizes that Van Argiano is not as big a threat as one would think before.

control, but loses his cool as soon as things go south for him.
* StarterVillain: He is the first member of Cinq Fleches to appear in the series and the one that causes the problems at the beginning of the series. In an unusual {{subversion}} of the trope, he survives past the first arc and sticks till the end of the series, but by that point Diva and his Chevaliers already took the spot as the main antagonists.

Added DiffLines:

* NeverGivenAName: Diva was raised [[SeparatedAtBirth differently from her twin Saya]] as an experiment. While Saya was given a loving home and the best care possible, Diva was locked in a tower and not given so much as a name. When Saya meets her, she gives her the name Diva.

%%* AffablyEvil:

to:

%%* AffablyEvil:* AffablyEvil: Nathan is a Chevalier to Diva, and involves himself in nasty business, but he is polite, pleasant and very friendly most of the time.

%%* CampGay

%%* EnigmaticMinion

%%* NotSoHarmlessVillain

to:

%%* NotSoHarmlessVillain* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Nathan is silly and flamboyant...but he will drop this in a ''heartbeat'' to deliver a harsh ultimatum to Amshel complete with a demonic voice when he feels slighted...and he's implied to be more than capable of backing the threats up.

* TheManInFrontOfTheMan: While masquerading as a simple {{Dragon}} to Diva, the way she talks to Amshel makes it clear she looks up to him and his corporation means he's responsible for her and her Chevaliers' income and while she just wants to sing and cause chaos, it is Amshel who [[spoiler:is the real mastermind, using her desires to fuel his own experiments. Flashbacks also reveal he's responsible for corrupting Diva after her and Saya's father mistreated her. He also steps up as the final obstacle once Diva has been killed]].
