The new navy in question was the Chinese navy - the ''Republic of China'' Navy.[[note]]Thus far, the only Republic of China Navy ships in the game are those that predate the existence of the People's Republic. The only ship so far whose post-[=WW2=] ROCN service is even hinted at is [[Characters/AzurLaneRoyalNavy HMS Aurora]], who notes that one of her names is Chongqing. That's probably because she spent only 9 months as a ROCN ship, and then joined the People's Liberation Army Navy after her crew's defection to the Communist side of the Chinese Civil War.[[/note]] As a result, Yongshi/Manjuu have apparently felt it prudent to leave her postwar history completely unmentioned.
