* UsefulNotes/AmericanAccents: Connor's accent is based on Rez according to Noah Watts in pre-release materials.

Added DiffLines:

*StarCrossedLovers: With [[spoiler:Jeanne. Ultimately, the fact that his greatest love left him because of the organisation he serves]] leads to his downfall.

* MasterPoisoner: He specializes in poisons, and trains Aveline in their use as well. He has her frighten a unit Spanish soldiers by poisoning them whenever they get close to a voodoo sign he crafted in the swamp, [[spoiler:and also uses a concoction on her when he believes she has betrayed the Assassins, causing her to see hallucinations of her previous targets]].

* ParentalSubstitute: To an extent, especially if you discover that [[spoiler:he named "Connor" after his long-deceased son]].

to:

* ParentalSubstitute: To an extent, especially if you discover Towards Connor. Their dynamic starts playing out like this relatively quickly, with Achilles even hanging a lampshade on how Connor's behavior is reminiscent of a teenager rebelling against a parent. Especially upon the discovery that [[spoiler:he named "Connor" after his long-deceased son]].

Added DiffLines:

* BigGuy: The largest playable assassin at the time the game debuted, and still one of the largest to date. He's tall, broad and powerfully muscled, and uses more brute force in his fighting style than Ezio or Altair had. Best seen in his unarmed aninations, where he can easily knock foes on their asses with a single blow or toss them like a ragdoll with one hand.

Added DiffLines:

* DontCallMeSir: On the homestead. He often has to remind the residents that he doesn't consider himself the lord or the master of the property, though legally and practically he is. He even tells wandering hunters they don't need to ask permission to hunt on the land, as the wilderness should provide for all.

Added DiffLines:

* MultiMeleeMaster: Like Ezio before him, Connor is lethal with a few classes of weaponry. The categories are Small[[note]]hatchets, tomahawks and daggers.[[/note]], Swords[[note]]sabres, cutlasses and rapiers.[[/note]], Heavy[[note]]two-handed axes.[[/note]] and Blunt[[note]]Native war clubs.[[/note]]. He has to wield a small weapon at all times, and can only carry one other of one primary weapon type at a time, though he can snatch any of his enemies' weapons temporarily, all of which fall under one of the aforementioned classifications. He can also use his bare hands to devastating effect. and the rope dart, while intended to be a noose or lasso from above or a distamce, can pull nearby enemies to the ground or drag them into close quarters. Finally, though he can't keep them in his inventory, he can appropriate muskets in melee combat, using the butt as a bludgeon and the bayonet like a spear.

* KnifeNut: Wields a meat cleaver. He cleaves meat with it. And by meat, we mean "Redcoats".

Added DiffLines:

* ISurrenderSuckers: Recruiting him unlocks the Covert Escort ability, where Connor presents himself as a prisoner, with Jacob and a fellow recruit disguised as Redcoats.

* BadassGrandpa: Can still kill you easily in his old age provided your back is to him.

* AmbiguouslyGay: When Aveline tells Patience that she just wants her, not her charm, Patience asks if she wants to play the [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar "game of flats"]] [[note]] The game of flats was what lesbianism was referred to as in the 18th century. This is a reference to games with playing cards, which were called "flats", and an allusion to the rubbing together of two "flat" female pudenda.[[/note]] [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar and then says Aveline can take her as a "game pullet"]] [[note]] An obsolete British appellation for a young prostitute, though clearly in this context Patience uses the term to mean "lover" instead the other thing.[[/note]] if she helps get her charm back from Judge.
