Episode 3 focused on Knuckles, not Mighty and Ray.

* Villainous example from episode 3: Mighty initially has the edge over Metal Sonic, but the later turns it around with judicious use of super speed: distracting [[HeyYouHaymaker Mighty by warping in front of him]], [[PunchedAcrossTheRoom punching Ray across the clearing]], catching him in a NeckLift ''before he lands'', and then using him in a HostageForMacGuffin situation, ''all in about 5 seconds!'' Comedy series or no, you have to give Metal props for that.

Spoilers shouldn't be marked on Awesome subpages.

* Episode 5 has Sonic, Tails, Mighty and Ray face off against [[ImplacableMan an Emerald-powered Metal Sonic]], and battle it to a standstill to an awesome remix of Sonic 3's Final Boss. Then [[spoiler:Tails [[AwesomenessByAnalysis uses the device Eggman dropped and knowledge of the terrain to trap and de-power Metal Sonic]] and have Sonic spindash it into a wall. All to an amazing remix of Sonic's theme.]]
** [[spoiler:Then Eggman reveals the Master Emerald, and Metal's about to power up again before ''[[BrickJoke Knuckles]]'' appears out of nowhere and ''[[MegatonPunch punches both Eggman and Metal Sonic clean out of their base!]]'' And then [[UnflinchingWalk nonchalantly walks away]] with the Emerald.]]
** Props to Eggman too. Despite his losses in Episode 1 and 2, he manages to obtain 4 of the Emeralds before [[VideoGame/SonicForces Sonic returned]], then had Metal Sonic take the rest in order to power it up. [[spoiler:He even had a backup plan with the Master Emerald, and might have won had Sonic's friends not shown up.]]

Page creation as part of moving examples from the series away from the Sonic Mania page. A bit too big to put in YMMV if you ask me.
