The most prominent role that showcases this is when he voiced [[TheChessmaster Kristoph]] [[BigBad Gavin]] in the ''[[VisualNovel/ApolloJusticeAceAttorney Apollo Justice]]'' LP. Though seemingly starting off just as strange as the other voices Nico does, [[spoiler:when Kristoph shows his true colors]], Nico noticeably portrays him more seriously with no more ad-libbing, exaggerations or theatrics. Even after seeing his [[VillainousBreakdown breakdown]] (which is quite a spectacle to see), Nico continues to portray him in a surprisingly serious manner.

** In ''VisualNovel/ZeroTimeDilemma'', he figured out [[spoiler: that Phi is the daughter of Sigma and Diana]] and only because of his GenreSavvy attributes on the ''VisualNovel/ZeroEscape'' trilogy.

** Figuring out that [[spoiler:Kazuo Tengan]] was the BigBad of ''Anime/DanganRonpa3 - Side: Future'' in the second episode (before the episode revealing this came out) even if it was a joke.
** While not too much of a plot twist, the fact he can get two seemingly irrelevant characters as the bad guy, [[spoiler: [[VisualNovel/SteinsGate Dr. Nakabachi]]]] and [[spoiler: [[VisualNovel/AceAttorneyInvestigationsMilesEdgeworth Quercus Alba]]]], means he also self-aware about the laws of video games compared to most.
** In probably the most ironic example, he somehow manages to turns CowboyBebopAtHisComputer into HilariousInHindsight in ''[[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsX Kingdom Hearts χ]]'': his prediction that Terra, Aqua, and Ventus [[note]]three characters who lived hundreds of years after the events of ''χ''[[/note]] being members of the Dandelions (which many Picky Penguins called him out on in the comments) became rather ironic ''the very next day'', when the ''Union χ'' trailer revealed that [[spoiler:Ventus actually ''was'' a member of the Dandelions]]. While Nico has predicted future plot twists before (see the [[spoiler:Tengan]] example above), this is a particularly notable example because, as with ''Investigations 2'', he somehow managed to predict a shocking plot twist [[RightForTheWrongReasons based on factually incorrect information]].
** Despite it being a famously shocking [[TheReveal reveal]], Nico not only figured out that [[spoiler:Bobby Fulbright]] was the BigBad of ''VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorneyDualDestinies'' during the first half of the investigation in Case 5, but managed to deduce nearly ''all'' the details of his plan based only on his intuition and past conversations.
** In ''VideoGame/Persona5'', Nico correctly guesses that [[spoiler:Igor is the final boss]] just by saying a joke.
** In the first episode of ''VisualNovel/DanganronpaV3KillingHarmony'', he made a prediction that [[spoiler:the entire cast was given FakeMemories (in which that was one of the endgame twists of that game)]]. He also manages to correctly guess arguably the game's [[MetaTwist most shocking twist]] (that [[spoiler:[[PlayerCharacter Kaede Akamatsu]] set up a trap to kill Rantaro]]) mere ''minutes'' after [[spoiler:finding the body]] in Case 1, before the investigation had even begun, something only one other known [=LPer=] guessed correctly. [[spoiler:[[SubvertedTrope Except that]] Kaede [[FrameUp was actually innocent]] and [[MiscarriageOfJustice falsely executed]], especially since [[GenreSavvy Nico]] thought the reveal was "obvious" to him. [[ZigZaggedTrope Although]], it's possibly a DoubleSubversion since in Chapter 6's investigation, Nico rightfully suspects that the events mentioned above had happened due to Shuichi's reactions]].
** In Episode 6 of ''[[VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorneySpiritOfJustice Spirit of Justice]]'', he correctly guesses [[spoiler:Roger Retinz is the real Mr. Reus]]. In Episode 29 of the same series, he also correctly guesses [[spoiler:Inga has an inability to read faces based on his experiences with Ace. In addition, he guesses Nayna is Amara and that she's Rayfa's mother based solely on Nayna's disappearance and the photo of her in Inga's safe]].
** In Episode 8 of ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles1'', in a similar vein to [[spoiler:Tengan]], he correctly guesses that [[spoiler:Dickson is, well, a dick.]]
** In the same series, he's able to piece together much of the major story beats by Episode 13, including [[spoiler:Metal Face's true identity and the fact that Zanza [[GreaterScopeVillain might be an even bigger threat than the Mechon.]]]]
** In ''VisualNovel/SteinsGateZero'', much like [[spoiler:Tengan and Dickson]], he correctly guesses that [[spoiler:Dr. Leskinen and Dr. Reyes are bad guys long before the reveals. However, since he did all of the endings where Reyes was the BigBad before doing the Leskinen endings, he thought that his 'bullshit powers' were weakening]].
** Adding to the list of [[spoiler:bad guys Nico was able to predict before TheReveal]], Nico was correct in [[spoiler:stating that [[KillAndReplace "Tomas"]] came back to the academy evil]] in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses''. He was also correct in guessing that [[spoiler:Rhea was Seiros on the route where not much information is given about her]].
** Also in ''Three Houses'', based solely on a commenter informing him that the dialogue he got from attacking the Death Knight with Mercedes in Chapter 4 was unique to Mercedes and the serendipitous timing of a few lines of dialogue during Monastery Exploration, he was able to put together that [[spoiler:the Death Knight, Jeritza, and Mercedes' half-brother Emile]] [[TwoAliasesOneCharacter are all the same person]] long before any of those connections are made clear in the story, and after the latter name had only been briefly mentioned once.

** In ''VideoGame/ThirteenSentinelsAegisRim'', simply by checking the Mystery Files, [[spoiler:he realizes that the main cast are dreaming of their past [[AlternateSelves versions]], and that Iori Fuyusaka is a younger version of Chihiro Morimura despite them existing in the same time period.]]
** In the third episode of ''VideoGame/{{Omori}}'' [[spoiler:he realizes that Mari is Sunny's flesh-and-blood sister, and she died from an accident on the stairs, hence why Sunny is afraid of them, after the first real-word scene.]]
** In ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2'', [[spoiler:after discovering [[BigBad Jin]] is a Blade, he realizes that everyone else who is a current or former Torna member is a Blade themselves, realizing that Mythra must have seen Nia's Core Crystal during the hot springs scene, and that Jin's ideology of violent Blade liberation would only tolerate other Blades as part of his QuirkyMinibossSquad]].
** In ''VideoGame/MasterDetectiveArchivesRainCode'', no sooner is he introduced to Coalescense than he realizes that it's Yuma's Forte as opposed to one of Shinigami's powers. Notably, he deduces it based purely on Shinigami's choice of words and calls out the game's attempts to imply otherwise. [[spoiler:He later jokingly guesses Fubuki's Forte shortly before it's revealed.]]

** He also managed to beat [[spoiler: Shadow Madarame]] on the first try, even though he's a boss that tends to give some players trouble first time around.

** Then Nico beats [[spoiler: [[NintendoHard The]] [[SNKBoss Reaper]] without relying on the [[{{Gamebreaker}} Flu season]]. It took him a few tries, but he managed to do it.]]
** While it was only one phase of a multi-phase boss fight, there's still something cathartic when Oracle charges up the entire team to allow them to take out [[spoiler: Akechi]] without letting the boss fight back.
** [[spoiler: In NewGamePlus,]] he manages to defeat [[spoiler: the {{Superboss}}es Caroline and Justine]] on the first try.

* One for ''VisualNovel/DanganronpaV3KillingHarmony'', it manages to get '''[[WeirdnessCensor Nico]]''' to leave his room mid-recording. How? By showing [[spoiler:Kokichi's newest NightmareFace]] in Chapter 4, stating that it was even worse than [[spoiler:the other [[NightmareFace Nightmare Faces]] combined]].

*** [[spoiler: He finally pulls it in Episode 11.]]

** Secondly, the ending. [[spoiler: Specifically, Monokuma's fight with the mastermind. Despite the actual duel being a CurbStompBattle resulting in OffWithHisHead, Monokuma still ends up delivering a brutal verbal beatdown to his silent foe, and getting the last laugh both literally and metaphorically via an explosive triggered by the bear's forbidden action.]] The next episode adds on to this [[spoiler: by making the injuries Naia received from the blast a major factor in getting her caught by the surviving Council members]].

** In Episode 6 of ''[[VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorneySpiritOfJustice Spirit of Justice]]'', he correctly guesses [[spoiler:Roger Retinz is the real Mr. Reus]]. In Episode 29 of the same series, he also correctly guesses [[spoiler:Inga has an inability to read faces based on his experiences with Ace. In addition, he guesses Nayna is Amara based solely on Nayna's disappearance and the photo of her in Inga's safe]].

** Before Apollo Justice, his best voice was probably [[{{Franchise/Persona}} Igor.]] Many comments on this first video in the Persona 4 Golden let's play talk about how mistook Nico for Igor at least once. Unlike Kristoph, he didn't take Igor as seriously, but if he did, it would be almost impossible to tell the difference between Igor and Nico's voice.

* Unlocking all of the ending paths in VideoGame/DevilSurvivor in a single playthrough, without use of a walkthrough and only the comments of the Picky Penguins telling him how well he's doing to that point.

** In Episode 6 of ''Spirit of Justice'', he correctly guesses [[spoiler:Roger Retinz is the real Mr. Reus]]. In Episode 29 of the same series, he also correctly guesses [[spoiler:Inga has an inability to read faces based on his experiences with Ace. In addition, he guesses Nayna is Amara based solely on Nayna's disappearance and the photo of her in Inga's safe]].
** In Episode 8 of ''Xenoblade Chronicles'', in a similar vein to [[spoiler:Tengan]], he correctly guesses that [[spoiler:Dickson is, well, a dick.]]

** In ''Steins;Gate 0'', much like [[spoiler:Tengan and Dickson]], he correctly guesses that [[spoiler:Dr. Leskinen and Dr. Reyes are bad guys long before the reveals. However, since he did all of the endings where Reyes was the BigBad before doing the Leskinen endings, he thought that his 'bullshit powers' were weakening]].

** Nico correctly guesses the role of the Arbiters of Fate in VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIIRemake a few chapters before that reveal is given based solely on their behavior up to the explosion of Sector 7.

* During his LP of ''Persona 5'', he was able to finish the first palace in one day. Even with the Soma that most players shouldn't have by this point, such a feat is difficult even on Safe or Easy. Nico is currently playing on Normal.

* Nico beats the optional boss of VideoGame/NierAutomata, Emil, at Level 67, compared to Emil's level 99.

* In his second stream of VideoGame/SuperMarioOdyssey, Nico manages to get [[ThatOneSidequest the 100 Jump Rope jumps moon]] with relatively little effort.

* After getting a stronger computer, Nicob is now able to create 60 fps videos, starting with Episode 13 of his Yakuza Kiwami LP.
* In Yakuza Kiwami 2, Nico decides to challenge the Millionaire League's first place and he seems to get wrecked as his opponent manages to be ahead of him. However somehow he manages to survive thanks to an Oil Baron who came at the last minute as a special bonus and he won ''BY 25,000 YEN''. [[note]] Kiryu has 5,825,000 yen while his opponent has 5,800,00 yen.[[/note]] Had he wasn't give '750,000 yen' as a special bonus, he would have lost.

* His victory over the Great Bay Temple's miniboss in [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask Majora's Mask]], which leaves him with only a '''quarter heart''' remaining. Keep in mind, Nico spends half of the fight running away and throwing bombs instead of fighting with the Hookshot, as one normally does.

* Managing to beat the [[ThatOneLevel infamous]] turret segment in VideoGame/DeadSpace on his first attempt... and with only one cannon.
* He also managed to beat the notoriously difficult VideoGame/OriAndTheBlindForest with 98% completion in one sitting.

* Nico beating the Pit of 100 Trials before he even set foot into Chapter 7.

* Episode 18 of VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2: Nico pulls ''KOS-MOS'', Miss "0.1% drop rate" herself, while awakening blades for Zeke, who happens to have the worst luck in the party. For comparison, LetsPlay/{{Chuggaaconroy}} (he himself BornLucky) even told the viewers to guess as to when he was going to pull her out -- he got her in ''Episode 145'', during the post-game.

* Nico killing the Chicken? from the top of the Dino Dig pyramid in his first try, which rewarded him not only a huge amount of experience points and money, but also the game-breaking weapon for Kel.

** In ''VideoGame/MasterDetectiveArchivesRainCode'', no sooner is he introduced to Coalescense than he realizes that it's Yuma's Forte as opposed to one of Shinigami's powers. Notably, he deduces it based purely on Shinigami's choice of words and calls out the game's attempts to imply otherwise.

* In his playthrough of ''VideoGame/EarthBound'', Nico got the Sword of Kings, an item that has a 1/128 chance of being dropped only by a single type of enemy, after fighting only THREE of those enemies. And he wasn't even trying to get it. [[LampshadeHanging Even he was surprised from getting it on his third fight.]]

* In ''VideoGame/MasterDetectiveArchivesRainCode'', no sooner is he introduced to Coalescense than he realizes that it's Yuma's Forte as opposed to one of Shinigami's powers. Notably, he deduces it based purely on Shinigami's choice of words and calls out the game's attempts to imply otherwise.

** Having enough sense to use cryonis to break Vah Ruta's ice blocks, something very few LPers were able to figure out.

* Nico killing the Chicken? from the top of the Dino Dig pyramid, which rewarded him not only a huge amount of experience points and money, but also the game-breaking weapon for Kel. Keep in mind that the Chicken? normally run away during the fight, with only a 10% chance of just doing nothing. This is made even worse because of how fast the Chicken? are, especially to the usual level the characters are by the time they get to the Orange Oasis. To top it all off, the particular Chicken? on top of the pyramid will not respawn upon running away/being defeated. And yet, Nico, who didn't know about any of this, was able to get lucky with the Chicken? doing nothing and kill it in one shot!

* Non-gameplay example, Nico's playthrough of ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII'' has him singing [[WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994 "Circle of Life"]]. Remember earlier when he said he was in an a capella group in college? [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic Here we learn why]].

** In ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII'', he managed to defeat [[FinalBoss Xehanort]], [[BrutalBonusLevel the Battlegates]], and [[BonusBoss Dark Inferno]], all at Level 19.

* In episode 10 of the ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses'' LP, he managed to defeat the [[BonusBoss DEATH]] [[RecurringBoss KNIGHT]] [[ThatOneBoss on the first encounter]]. Most people need to specifically prepare (usually with grinding and/or with [[GameBreaker Lysithea]]) for fighting him just to do that. Keep in mind, this was his first ever ''Franchise/FireEmblem'' game, meaning he didn't have any past experience to pull such a feat.
