* Johnny and Kreese, picking up where Season 1 left off, duke it out. It is brutal and painful, with neither of them giving away anything. Both of them eventually go down without a knockout, having fought to a draw.

* The hospital scene between the Larussos, with Sam getting three lines of stitches in her arm. Having been patient with his shenanigans over the summer and citing not-too-different issues at the dealership than when Louie was there, Amanda lays down the law in no uncertain terms to Daniel.

* The acting. The kids are new talent, but the acting ability of both William Zabka and Ralph Maccio is really good and qualifies as Awesome on the basis that these are two 80's heartthrobs that due to the cultural impact of the Karate Kid films got typecasted and struggled to get other parts. And now here they are, 30 years later and acting their ass off, seemingly effortlessly slipping into the skin of characters they played decades ago and really selling the inner conflicts that plague them.

* After a few small samples of Daniel's badassery in the previous season, we finally get to see him jump into action and unleash his inner Miyagi when Trey and Cruz return to settle the score with Robby. The two thugs and their bigger, stronger buddy are all laid out in less than a minute.

'''Kyler''' ''(spotting Miguel and Hawk in the lot):'' You know what? Letís just find another spot or go home or whatever, you know?
** And then everyone but Moon promptly deserts Yasmine, [[FridgeLogic suggesting]] that even after Kyler got curb-stomped by Miguel in front of everyone (including their own posse), their group ''still'' likes/respects Kyler more than they do Yasmine.
** Honorable mention to Aisha for reinterpreting "Strike First."

* That Miyagi-Do vs Cobra Kai brawl at the end of Season 2 also deserves some props from a technical standpoint, particularly for a well-executed case of TheOner up and down a hallway through numerous pairings of fighters, with the main young actors doing most of their own stunts and fight-choreography. And the writing of the season and scene manages to perfectly capture the GreyAndGrayMorality theyíre going for.

He does respond later by pinning Johnny against the edge of a bar counter, but then the waitress said jerkass had harassed earlier [[TheDogBitesBack slides over a longneck for Johnny to grab]] and [[GrievousBottleyHarm smash over his head]].
