** The Sacrificial Kings in the Novak family have a tattoo on their upper left arm that resembles the ᛗ (mannaz) rune from the Elder Futhark alphabet meaning "man". However, Holland's tattoo is of a reversed mannaz which represents resistance to change and is a reminder to be aware of one's faults and responsibilities. This reflects Holland's immature and abusive behavior towards Renton being chosen as Eureka's partner, as well as his unwillingness to face his past, before he realizes his mistakes and tries to become a better leader to Gekkostate.

The rune, which means "birch tree", symbolizes motherhood, domesticity, and new beginnings when upright; but the reversed berkana symbolizes domestic troubles--in this case, Talho's [[GreenEyedMonster anxiety]] over Holland's [[spoiler:[[TheFirstCutIsTheDeepest former relationship with Diane]]]] and disapproval of his jerkass behavior mentioned above.

A sort of CompilationMovie premiered in 2009, subtitled ''[[Anime/EurekaSevenGoodNightSleepTightYoungLovers good night, sleep tight, young lovers]]''.[[note]]The Japanese subtitle literally translates as "Pocket Full of Rainbows" but they still use the English subtitle "good night, sleep tight, young lovers" within Japan. It's all very confusing.[[/note]] The movie is set in an AlternateUniverse from the series, but still features most of the main characters.
