* British fans of the show had been clamoring for a UK version for years, complete with speculation over who should host it and who would make it on as contestants. It was first announced in 2014 but languished in DevelopmentHell for four years. Then in 2018, it was announced that not only was the first season of ''Drag Race UK'' finally in production, but it would be hosted by [=RuPaul=] himself, making it the first ForeignRemake of ''Drag Race'' to have his direct involvement. Once the season was underway, the rejoicing continued, as fans were happy to see it showcase British culture rather than emulating American drag.
** Any time a queen has a substantial fanbase ''before'' appearing on the show, there is much rejoicing when she announced as being part of the cast. Courtney Act, Derrick Berry, Mayhem Miller, Nina West, and several others were well-known names in drag culture before appearing on the show.

* What will Creator/DisneyPlus add in October? Well, aside from ''Werewolf By Night'', there's nothing of interest or particually special-wait, are those the first four seasons of ''Series/BearInTheBigBlueHouse'' listed? Now that's something to celebrate!

What a beautiful day, indeed!

In late 2016, Grant, Tory and Kari officially announced that they have been roped back by the producer of Mythbusters for their own show, ''Series/WhiteRabbitProject'', which was commissioned by Creator/{{Netflix}} and will be officially available in December 2016.
