Machiavellienne: With regards to The Time Travellers Wife. I was a big fan of the book, but their relationship is quite creepy if you think about it for too long. He is essentially grooming her, especially when he begins tutoring her in the languages he speaks and the literature he reads- essentially building himself the perfect wife. YMMV, but its not a Wall Banger that some reviewers picked up on that.
Licky Lindsay: I always thought the reason why people wait for teen actors to turn 18 was because a person must be that age in order to legally work in pornography. Possibly due more to child-labor laws or obscenity laws than age-of-consent laws.
