Yes, it's a poor excuse for a counterargument, but then "why not?" is a poor excuse for a reason.

Freezair For A Limited Time: Not to mention, it's an in-house meme. It'd be very odd to just cut it and leave all those references hanging.
Red Viking: I can't tell if the person who wanted this cut is kidding or not. I mean, cutting something that'll create over 200 red links and the reason is "why not?"
Madrugada: "Why not?" is an awful reason to cut a page, even a garbage page. This is not a garbage page and cutting it needs a much better reason than "Because I can put anything I want on the cutlist." which is what this sounds like.
