    • OP here. All of these guesses are pretty much jossed. They've brought in fresh talent for the series, most of them veterans of 4Kids.

    • Sort of. A very Lugnut-looking but female Decepticon named Clobber is part of Megatron's forces on Earth. Hasbro, for whatever reason, didn't want her to be named Lugnut. The decision was handed down so late in production that some foreign dubs of the cartoon call her Lugnut anyway.

There's a reason why Skywarp isn't in the show with Starscream and Thundercracker.
  • He died before the events of the series. In a battle with Optimus-or in the revolution. He was part of the seekers with Scream and Cracker before his death and he was replaced by Slipstream after. When Unicron arrives he will bring back Skywarp as Cyclonus. (Or just a powerful version of himself).
    • Season 3 proves that Skywarp did appear, but is depicted as female this time.

Starcream is the current leader of the Deceptions.
  • Megatron is dead by the time Bumblebee winds up on Earth. And Starscream is the leader of the Decepticon, but he is pretending Megatron is still alive.
    • Jossed. Megs appears in season two, and KILLS Starscream!
      • Except not, it seems. Starscream managed to survive, or come back to life somehow.

Grimlock is forcing himself to speak the way he does.
  • His natural speaking pattern is much more like the Hulk Speak we're familiar with and is possibly an accent of some sort. For some reason, he's forcing himself to speak "properly" and not with his natural manner of speech.
    • Jossed... kinda. He has two different voice patterns when in robot and in dinosaur mode. When in robot, he speaks in a rather Shakespearian manner. In dinosaur mode, he speaks in Grimlock's trademark Hulk Speak.

There is a reason for Shockwave's Personality
  • Shockwave has a similar backstory, to his IDW counterpart.

Other Dinobots.
  • While we focused on Grimlock landing on prehistoric earth, we also see several other stasis pods get sucked out of the ark. It's possible some of those Autobots were the Cyberverse equivalent to the Dinobot team and also got dino modes to survive and will later form the original team with Grimlock.

There will be other Beast Wars characters that will show up in Season 2.
  • The trailer for season 2 of Cyberverse revealed that Cheetor will make an appearance. It is highly possible for other characters from Beast Wars to make an appearance.
  • Those who could show up are:
    • Rhinox
    • Airazor
    • Depth-Charge
    • Rattrap
    • Black Arachnia
    • Dinobot
    • Terrorsaur
    • Waspinator

    • Weirdly enough, while none of those characters showed up, Air Hammer (the hammerhead shark/falcon Fuzor) showed up as a species of space-dwelling predators. Grimlock also mentions having fought a troop of Bantors, who was a tiger/mandrill Fuzor toy.

Clobber is Lugnut and Strika's daughter.
  • Jossed. Strika herself appears in the third season (albeit under the name "Alphastrike").

The Two-Headed Seeker will be named Slugslinger.
  • The original Slugslinger transformed into a jet with two cockpits. Rack 'n' Ruin is pretty obscure, so why not make his Evil Counterpart somewhat obscure as well?

Cheetor is the reincarnation of Onyx Prime.
Back at the dawn of Cybertron's history, Primus, the living core of the planet and the source of life for its people, created the Thirteen to prevent his brother and nemesis Unicron from devouring the universe. Among them were many "firsts" of their race: Solus Prime, the first female; Micronus Prime, the first Minicon; and Onyx Prime, the first to have an animal disguise. At the end of their era, called the Age of Primes, the group split into two factions and fought each other with Onyx being one of the few who were fatally wounded. He chose to return to the Allspark before his injuries could kill him, allowing his spark to join with their creator and leave the mortal world behind.

Now that the Allspark is on Earth, it needed a protector. Cheetor was the guardian that it chose, giving his spark a new body so that he could interact with the world of the living. Cheetor says that the only thing he can remember before getting his current body is being one with the Allspark, before being tasked with defending it.

The evidence is that this has happened before with another of the Thirteen: Optimus Prime. He was the one who helped carry the dying Onyx Prime to the Well of All Sparks and chose to enter it and return to the Allspark as well, except with the intent of returning eventually as a common Cybertronian rather than to stay there forever like Onyx did. Eventually, he did: as Orion Pax, who later chose the name Optimus after joining the Autobots and eventually becoming a Prime. And like Cheetor, he initially couldn't remember his former life during the Age of Primes.

If the series had continued, Lockdown would have left the Decepticons to become a bounty hunter
Because why use Lockdown at all if you’re going to completely remove one of his core character traits?

Hot Rod survives the Battle of Cybertron because Cheetor Revived him.
During Battle of Cybertron part 3 Hot Rod is stabbed by Drift before dragging him into a pool of toxic energon. Hot Rod is then revealed to have survived and continues to be part of the plot for the rest of season 3, while Drift is never seen again, with Word of God confirming his death, despite the fact that unlike Hot Rod he was unharmed before entering the pool.

Now in part 4 Cheetor becomes one with the Allspark, to prevent Shockwave destroying it. Part of what we see of this is the pool Hot Rod and Drift died in lighting up. Logically therefore we can assume that Hot Rod and Drift did perish in part 3, but then Cheetor used the Allspark to revive his friend, while Drift, who betrayed Cheetor was left to his original fate.
