Sakura Matou was raped by her foster family for years, and Guts was raped as a child and later saw his best friend turned arch-enemy rape his lover. Kenshiro, Raoh and Toki all loathe rapists and scum who prey on the vulnerable like him. As such, his very small friend group is mostly other sex offenders and outright rapists. After all, that's why the ones to "save" him were Arthur Light and Zebediah Killgrave; [[SerialRapist they have the same criminal lusts/desire to assert themselves]], which has made them pariahs [[EvenEvilHasStandards even amongst the supervillain community]]. Outside of those two, his closest friend is probably Nobuyuki Sugou, a depraved and lustful worm of a man who's position has made him an entitled SpoiledBrat like Kamoshida. The two often go to cocktail parties with the Yellow Bastard, who's daddy basically gives them asylum for their "habits". Ethan Roark Junior is so awful that Suguru Kamoshida can seen ''almost'' quaint by comparison, however [[RealismInducedHorror the latter is seen as the more realistic villain]]. Their meet ups are down to "safety in numbers" more than anything. Shinji Matou is probably the only student who can stand Suguru Kamoshida because just like him, he's an insecure creep and predator. Shinji holds a distressingly casual dismissal of consent that's very much in keeping with Kamoshida, and the two pass off their abhorrent actions and working together to get hot girls.

* Suguroku Muto (or Solomon Moto [[DubNameChange if you're watching the English dub]]) is the grandfather of famed duelist Yugi Muto and owner of the Kame Game shop. In his youth he was an archeologist who visited the Valley of the Kings in hopes of finding the tomb of the Nameless Pharaoh [[spoiler:aka Pharaoh Atem]], being the one to find the Millennium Puzzle, though he was never able to solve it. Interestingly, in a past life he was that pharaoh's Grand Vizier, Shimon Muran, and wielded Exodia. Suguroku is a skilled player of games and a gambler who rarely lost, though one of the few times he did it led to him wearing overalls and retiring. Now he's content running his game shop, and serving as a mentor for his grandson Yugi. Occasionally he has gone out to play Duel Monsters like dueling with Jonouchi in [=KaibaCorps=] Grand Prix. He's a close friend of Rebecca Hopkin's grandfather Arthur, and she initially tried to challenge him for a duel to get back his Blue Eyes card. However the two eventually patched things out and befriended him and Yugi.
* Yugi's grandfather was minded his own business, taking care of his shop on a quiet day where there weren't many customers. Everything seemed normal until he opened his mailbox and discovered an invitation to something called the Trope Pantheon. [[ItMakesSenseInContext After the VHS tape Pegasus sent led to his soul getting stolen]] he was suspicious and asked Yugi if he knew if a trick was afoot, only to be informed that it was the same thing he and many of both his allies and enemies had joined. As a character defined by their familial relationship to another character, he was under consideration for the trope of SatelliteFamilyMember. Suguroku may be in his seventies but he's not [[TechnologicallyBlindElders technologically blind]] and quickly adapted to using TV Tropes. His temple is Kame House, technically part of the House of Family and Relatives but functionally part of the House of Pantheon/{{Gaming}} as that's where his revenue comes from. For deities wanting to play Duel Monsters he's usually the one to check if they're looking for a more humble and friendly game shop. At his age he isn't ready to go on big adventures, though he is penpals with the retired adventurer Old Buran. You can find him [[Pantheon/FictionalSettings in the Monster Sanctuary]] training new adventurers, which is what piqued Suguroku's interest.
* He had met Judai/Jaden and friends "the long way round" at his card shop [[Anime/YuGiOhGX where even in his eighties he still was as chipper maintaining his shop]]. He helped guide them through the city in return, but unfortunately he got kidnapped by Thunder and Frost. Jaden and his friends managed to find and rescue him, and he gave them some hamburgers for their trouble. Overall, Sugoroku is generally friendly and doesn't hold a grudge, though he's still somewhat sore around Seto Kaiba and Pegasus; the former beat him and destroyed his Blue Eyes card, leading to him going to the hospital, and the latter stole his soul as part of his scheme. He's on speaking terms with them because they ultimately turned a new leaf, but they're otherwise neutral. Ultimately he only really opposes the unrepentant villains who threatened his grandson (and the world, given the scope of their plans). Yugi's grandfather is on really good terms with Exodia, interestingly enough. As mentioned, his previous life in Ancient Egypt had Exodia as his ''ka'', and he used to have Exodia in his playset.
* He's been trying to catch up with [[Pantheon/YuGiOh the protagonists of Yu-Gi-Oh series]] [[Anime/YuGiOh5Ds 5Ds]] and beyond, studying their adventures so he can better understand the later Duel Monsters meta. Yes their series are either far enough in the future he's probably passed of old age, and/or a different timeline altogether, but since he owns a Duel Monsters game shop he wants to be informed. He got some help with the updates and suggestions on how to boost sales from Aldo and Arnold. They were [[RaisedByGrandparents raised by their grandparents]] and are generally kind-hearted individuals, so they were happy to help. The two like swapping stories with the old man whenever they visit the shop for gaming accessories. Sometimes he can be seen visiting [[Pantheon/ChefsAndEstablishments the Cabbage Merchant]] to pick up cabbages, musing that [[Creator/JamesSie he sounds like his friend Uncle Chan]].
* While he's retired from the archeology business, he still knows his stuff about Egypt and has stories to share with other archeologists. Him and Indiana Jones have become good friends discussing their past adventures, though Suguroku readily admits Indy has seen a lot more than he was able to. Him and Simon Petrikov are also friends, the latter having been an antiquarian who had studied some magical artifacts...sadly he spent the better part of a millennium driven crazy by one of them. With all the things he's seen of the Millennium Items and Shadow Games, he wasn't exactly surprised to learn the Egyptian gods were all too real in the Trope Pantheon. He's become quite interested in learning more about them, alongside the many pharaohs present asides from the Nameless Pharaoh. He's especially interested in Ahkmenrah, a ChummyMummy who was brought to the land of the living thanks to [[Pantheon/ArtifactsLibrary a magical Egyptian artifact]]...he reminds the old man of Yami Yugi.
* Suguroku's shop being called "Kame Game", basically translating to "Turtle Game", reminds a good amount of people of Muten Roshi. There's more than a few similarities between them; both are old, wise mentors of the protagonist, though Roshi has more of a role as the mentor, and they're both [[DirtyOldMan perverts]]. This isn't as obvious with Yugi's grandpa as his lechery [[CharacterizationMarchesOn was more an early characterization]], but his interest in [[AnimeChineseGirl Vivian Wong]] and Otogi's cheerleaders wasn't exactly innocent. [[EveryoneHasStandards He still thinks Roshi is pervy]], though to the older man's credit he's become better at controlling his lust. While they sometimes chat about beautiful women, most of the time they talk about their life experiences and how to give advice to those they care about. Roshi has decided to learn from him how to play Duel Monsters as a hobby.
* He has somewhat of a rivalry with Comic Book Guy, come their mutual roles in the House of Pantheon/{{Commerce}}. He owns a major comic book shop of the Trope Pantheon, and Suguroku owns a major game shop. Comic Book Guy keeps trying to push advertisement for his shop over the old man, trying to get more customers. He was a bit annoyed to see a regular like [[Pantheon/JokesAndPranks Bart Simpson]] start to spend more pocket change at the Kame Game shop, causing the old man to quip "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS12E11WorstEpisodeEver didn't you ban him?]]" Jeff simply responded with "we worked that out". While Yugi's grandpa is a bit exasperated by how much of a jerk Comic Book Guy can be, their rivalry is a harmless one and they'll sometimes show up at each other's shop to buy stuff from one another. Occasionally they meet up and chat, and/or snark, at the Kwik-e-Mart. Him and Apu seem to get along as small businessmen.
* Brand X attempted to exploit the old man in hopes of pushing their awful, awful food products. Why him? Simply put, they wanted to look more appealing and "human". They propositioned him with an idea of becoming a promoter for Brand X food, by tying them with the games he sold. Suspecting them from the start, he asked the representative "could you taste test your food first?" That representative was nervous [[LethalChef since he knew what their food taste like]], so instead he decided to gamble and say "OK, let's decide it over poker. You win, I'll taste test it and we'll leave you alone forever. I win, you sell your game shop to us and we turn it into a market". Unfortunately for that representative Suguroku was a very lucky gambler and took some pride in seeing [[HoistByHisOwnPetard the representative prove how bad that proposal would've been for him]]. He got a high five from another shopkeeper, Uncle Chan, for pulling that off as it seems to have prevented them going after his business next. He's been interested in learning about Egyptian magic recently, and seeing another small business do well in the Trope Pantheon has made him smile.
* As he's a friendly old man with a humble job, it's hard to really piss him off. [[WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries Make jokes about him lusting over Black Luster Soldier]] and he'll just go "ah, I see you're a fan of that abridged series". Some people do piss him off, though. Though a bit of a pervert, he's far from the creep that Nobuyuki Sugou is. His abuse of the virtual world's gaming system and general sleaze-baggery made him permanently blacklisted from Kame Game. No, the fact he has no interest in Duel Monsters or the other games at his shop doesn't change that. He's definitely not a fan of Yoshihiro Kira either. For one, he's worried his Stand ability might cause some chaos if he gets access to Duel Monster cards, despite Yoshihiro saying "that's not how my Stand works [[HypocriticalHumor you old fool!]]" More seriously, Yoshihiro is aiding and enabling his SerialKiller of a son and making Morioh a less safe place. The ghostly Stand user tried to defend his actions by saying he's making up for his wife's abuse[[note]]according to Araki's comments; it's not mentioned in the manga to avoid making Kira too sympathetic[[/note]], only for Sugoroku [[FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse to say that's a BS excuse]].
* While an expert gambler, Sugoroku Muto knows that eventually, your luck will run out. This is but one of many reasons why he has absolutely no interest in playing any game with the D'arby brothers, who he's naturally horrified [[LostHimInACardGame by them gambling with human lives]]. Daniel at least finds his refusal to duel unfortunate, [[VillainRespect since he respect for his skill]], but Telence is just an ass so he doesn't care. Yugi is glad they aren't trying to antagonize his grandpa outright since the way their Stands work is highly reminiscent of a Shadow Game. However Sugoroku is fine gambling for smaller wagers like a chocolate milkshake. Him and Tsunade decided to gamble over who pays for a month's worth of bento boxes with a game of Duel Monsters...Sugoroku won, though she insists that this was unfair because it was her first time playing Duel Monsters. [[FriendlyRivalry They'll still make friendly wagers, just with more fair games]]. Recently he has been doing some bets with Uncle Chan over who can sell the most from their stores on a weekend.
* Has a bit of a complicated opinion on Grunkle Stan. Sugoroku sees him as a troublemaker, a swindler a washout...but also a good friend, who reminds him of some of the stuff he got up to back in the day. Stan wishes that he did more higher stake gambling with him and [[HypocriticalHumor thinks he's a bit of a washout]], but this comes off more as friendly ribbing. While Yugi's grandfather is annoyed by Bubs and his swindling ways, he sees in Stan Pines a more devious version of himself but really fun company, [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold who'll prove his worth when he needs to]]. The two like to swap stories, though the elder Muto admits he's got a lot stranger to say. One story both of them got caught off guard was [[Pantheon/MediaPresentation Big Bird's]], who [[Film/DontEatThePictures dressed down]] ''[[Pantheon/MaleAppearances Osiris]]'' when he refused to let a boy into the afterlife.

While the other Millennium Items can be loaned to other deities, permission is required and they are items not to be trifled with.

** The Millennium Puzzle and Ring are unique since, as already mentioned, they contain the spirits of people. The Puzzle is notoriously hard to solve in large part due to Yami Yugi's influence and has a more general purpose of enhancing skill, accessing and protecting from magic. There are brilliant minds in the Houses of Pantheon/{{Knowledge}} and Pantheon/{{Science}} who can solve it faster than Yugi did, however the Nameless Pharaoh will only aid them if he wants to. The Ring can find what the wielder is looking for like a compass, but benefits are outweighed by the malignant evil in the item. [[Anime/YuGiOhTheDarkSideOfDimensions Even without Zorc or the Thief King, it's still corruptive]]. Voldemort was fascinated by these items since they work as a sort of [[SoulJar Horcrux variant]], though the abilities and how they function as "horcruxes" is somewhat different. He doesn't intend to steal them because he can't make a horcrux over something already "occupied" like they are, but it has inspired him to try and steal the other Millennium Items and make ''them'' horcruxes. Zorc is intrigued by this since it could allow him to influence Voldemort, but he and by extension Yami Bakura refuse to let him co-opt the artifacts.
** The Millennium Eye lets you read people's minds. Admittedly useless for telepaths like [[Pantheon/SpiritualAndMentalPowers the Martian Manhunter]] unless you want to play a Shadow Game, but pretty useful for anyone ''wanting'' telepathy. It's only got two downsides. One, if someone can pull a MemoryGambit like flipping between different personalities they can cheat the system. Two, [[EyeScream it requires an empty eye socket]]. This wasn't a problem for Bender that time he managed to steal the Eye, calling Pegasus "a lightweight meatbag" as he could just unscrew one of his eyes and plug the artifact in. He freaked out a bit when [[Recap/FuturamaS1E10AFlightToRemember he saw the spirit of the Countess de la Roca]], much as how Pegasus saw a vision of his lost love, but got over it. Bender almost won a big poker game until he went up against Fry, who's mind still couldn't be read even with a magic artifact. The Eye was later recovered from a nearby trash can, vigorously cleaned, and returned to the museum.
** The Millennium Rod has [[BadPowersBadPeople perhaps the most potential for evil]] since not only is it used for mind control, but it also has a sharp end to stab people with. Marik set up a rumor that [[WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries it can only control people named Steve and can be used as a lightsaber]], but no-one really bought it and he admitted [[ItAmusedMe he made it up for a lark]]. However, strong enough HeroicWillpower can allow one to break out of control. The Hall of Pantheon/MindControl wonders if their own techniques could somehow enhance the item. Death Phantom muses that compared to his own power of MindManipulation, it might as well be glorified metal, but Jervis Tetch thinks it's a neat secondary means of control and looks fashionable. There was a test to see if it could entrance someone already entranced by the Hypnotoad; it succeeded, but the Hypnotoad simply stared and mind controlled
** The Millennium Necklace's role was formerly used by Ishizu Ishatar, and way back in the day her previous life Isis. No, not the goddess, she just happened to share the name. The actual goddess is interested in it, but more as a glorified piece of jewelry as her own divine powers overshadow the Necklace. It's main ability is to see the future, and also the past. However it still has its limits, and its abilities are obscured by other millennium items. Though Ishizu never had any intent to use it for Shadow Games, if she ascends she still cannot be expected to use it in the House of Pantheon/{{Gaming}} as it could be seen as a form of cheating. How effective the Necklace is can fluctuate wildly; tests from the House of Pantheon/{{Prophecy}} shows it's highly effective in [[YouCantFightFate deterministic]] settings but useless in [[ScrewDestiny ones that break fate]]. Anyone wearing it within the House of Pantheon/TimeAndTemporality will suffer a migraine due to the conflicting laws of time inevitably present there.
** The Millennium Key stands as the only Item to lack the eye symbol on it. It allows you to unlock and enter somebody's mind. It's comparable to what the Phantom Thieves and Razputin Aquato are capable of, however Yami Yugi's amnesia caused his mind to come off as some labyrinth. Some poor Arkham guard tried to use the Key to enter [[Pantheon/{{Laughter}} the Joker's mind]] in order to figure out what was wrong with him, [[AMindIsATerribleThingToRead only to be lost in a maddening MC Escher-esque carnival]]. While extremely evil hearts like Yami Bakura and probably the Joker too overwhelm it, most wicked souls can expect to face the wrath of Ammit eating them. Anubis has dryly mused that the Millennium Scale is basically a knock-off of the ScalesOfJustice he and Osiris use to judge the dead, jokingly wondering if they should sue for plagiarism. [[Pantheon/{{Destinies}} Judgement Bird]] muses it is fairer than the scale he possesses. Well, his used to be fair, but when someone pointed out the possibility of it never leaning toward one way the scale was rigged so it could always yield a clear verdict: guilty, and the execution method was lynching. The Millennium Scale tends to twitch whenever the Judgement Bird is near.

Homelander was intrigued by him being the guinea pig as in the World of Movies a version of him known as Kamoshida-man appeared as a superhero that misused his powers and authority, like him. For all her faults, she's not a sexual predator. Umbridge agrees with that kind of method, though she has even less standards and is a straight up ally of Kamoshida. As Suguru Kamoshida used to be a follower of Agitha Trunchbull, he's annoyed that she's deciding to have standards now, as he hoped she would be his confidant in their house.

His first reaction upon being "restored to factory settings" was ''white-hot rage'' and humiliation about being subjected to what he considers a FateWorseThanDeath. He immediately grabbed a nearby gun with murder on his eyes, only to scream in pain that he was feeling bad for past actions. As it turns out the anti-brainwashing wasn't complete; whenever he attempts to do something even more evil than normal like try to murder the Phantom Thieves or fantasize about ColdBloodedTorture, the forced empathy briefly re-asserts itself like a MoralityChain. For now, Kamoshida has decided to just get used to his surroundings and enjoy that he is mostly "cured" of what they did to him.

He was an important figure in helping the Nazis fight the Basterds and could easily detect a liar, however he's hardly a zealot of their ideology and at his core he's an opportunist. When the winds turned against him he would collaborate with their plan to assassinate the Nazi high command, under the conditions that [[WrittenByTheWinners he would be whitewashed in the history books and his own crimes ignored]], with him retiring to Nantucket Island. [[AlternateHistory The assassination worked]], and Hans would go on to solve a series of murders as an amateur master detective. Of course, Lt. Aldo Raine refused to let him get away scot-free, [[LoopholeAbuse and while he couldn't kill him there was another method of inflicting karma]]. [[MarkOfShame Something he couldn't take off]]...so a swatiska was carved in his forehead, branding him as a Nazi. He will constantly be afraid of what people will say about or do to him in response.

He was just as ruthless and cold-blooded, though rather than be assassinated he managed to do what many folded into Operation Paperclip achieved. As he would get a special punishment via LoopholeAbuse, despite his earnest attempts to escape justice, TheVillainMustBePunished was decided for him. Personally Hans considers being in the Trope Pantheon a punishment; he's now in an environment where [[ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight people will refuse to let him off the hook despite the arrangement he got]]. And the Basterds are waiting for the moment he slips up [[PayEvilUntoEvil to go all out on him]]. [[Pantheon/BetrayalAndTreachery Starscream]] has quipped that he should expect to visit his house a fair bit since he's not going to get much trust from the evil gods either.
* Hans' ascension was among the ascended Nazis, seen as contentious. He was involved in Hitler, Goebbels, Goering and other Nazi high command's assassination in his universe, proving himself perfectly willing to abandon the ideology if it's for his benefit. However, few if any of the high-ranking Nazis that ascended ever held genuine loyalty to the Fuhrer, and they hold the idea above the man. Despite recognizing him as an opportunist, Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse saw in Hans a man that was still useful to the Nazi party and made it clear that Hans Landa will be offered a handsome reward for ensuring the ascended Nazi's triumph...but he's on thin ice and [[FateWorseThanDeath he will wish for the Basterds if he pulls the same turncoat stunt on them]]. Hans Landa was reluctant to agree with this, but ultimately did so as his reputation precedes him, or in other words he already had so many angry eyes on him that siding with the Nazis again would increase his allies list.
* The Red Skull has quite the love-hate relationship with Hans Landa. Though he makes no secret [[TheStarscream he sought to become Fuhrer]], he's usually written as a genuine believer so he doesn't respect Hans' "flip-flopping". And Adolf Hitler was not just his personal idol, but arguably [[ParentalSubstitute a second father]]. However he cannot help but respect Hans' cunning and effectiveness, citing that if he held genuine conviction and loyalty in the cause [[VillainousFriendship they would be close friends]]. Landa respects the Skull's determination and own cunning, however [[EvenEvilHasStandards he is not a fan of]] his BadBoss tendencies. Amoral he may be, [[AFatherToHisMen Col Landa has affection for his adjutant]] and was outraged to see the Basterds shoot him. The Skull gave him a positive review to HYDRA, admitting he'll fit their organization as a detective and intelligent agent like a glove. Since HYDRA is more broadly authoritarian than its Nazi roots, they are a lot more accepting of him. The various Waffen soldiers and groups in the Hall of Enemies are rather distrustful of Hans, but they are quite open to him proving himself. [[AFatherToHisMen Hans cares for his subordinates]] and coupled with his excellent charisma and communication skills, serving under him is a ''market'' improvement to [[BadBoss serving under the Skull]].
* While he is seem with skepticism by many Nazi deities, along with those tied to and working with the Nazis, there are some that get along with him swimmingly and overlook his {{Turncoat}} actions. Franz Vahlen has his own ambitions independent of Rommel and Hitler, and he plans to become Fuhrer himself. As a general he can give aid to Hans in areas he's lacking. General Heinz Bohm is a cunning [[TheMole mole]] who met with the two over some strudel, pointing out he is well-aware the pantheon's Nazi elite has their own internal power plays and schemes for and against one another, so the fact they're able to be friendly with one another will likely be a boon. They've met privately to discuss assassination plans on some of their own allies in case they prove to be a "liability", the details of which are a tight-knit secret but nothing out of the ordinary for the Nazis more skeptical of Hans. For now, at worst Hans Landa is a reliable traitor. He's still got significantly more respect than the Four Libertines, as while the Waffen-SS aided and guarded them they're considered degenerate, [[EvenEvilHasStandards and not from a racist perspective either]]. Hans will give them asylum [[TheFriendNobodyLikes but doesn't enjoy their company one bit]].
* On the other side of the proverbial coin, there are those that Hans Landa is quite critical of. He is flabbergasted that Millennium is still given the go ahead by the more traditional Nazis, pointing out they're insane. [[HypocrisyNod Yes he's aware he's not exactly a loyalist to the cause]], but he's not wrong feeling Mr "[[AxCrazy I like]] [[BloodKnight war]]" might be more trouble than they're worth. Adjacent to the cause, there's Sergey Taboritsky and the Aryan Brotherhood, who he's glad aren't proper associates due to how off their gourd they are. He's surprised the OTL Sergey was allowed to be part of the Nazi party, citing [[BoomerangBigot he's a Russian monarchist with a Jewish mother]]. Pointing this out only caused the Blessed Regent to go on a rant of "[[MadnessMantra I AM NOT A JEW I AM NOT CAIN!!]]" On a lighter note, he's bothered by the attention that Cartman has given him. Cartman thinks he's "super kewl" and wants to be involved, albeit with some cognitive dissonance to ignore the fact he helped with Hitler's assassination in his timeline. Col Landa accurately finds him an annoying little brat and doesn't want his attention. On yet another note, back when he had an idealized view of the Nazis Jojo Betzler used to admire Hans as being this cool and stylish figure, but the Nazis have become a major BrokenPedestal and he now wishes never to become like him. Col Landa sees this as more of a shame than anything, though he muses [[MinionWithAnFInEvil he never really had the stomach for it]].
* It is debatable as to how much of a PoliticallyIncorrectVillain he is, as his affinity for Nazi ideology is debatable. He compares Jews to rats, but unlike other Nazis this is not meant to be an insult. Rather, it's a weird, if offensive compliment as he points out that rats are resourceful and cunning animals. He's very good at rooting out Jewish families in hiding, so this and his other crimes prevent him from being seen as anything other than an enemy by Jewish deities. And for those that directly suffered under Nazi oppression like Sophie and Magneto, no amount of FauxAffablyEvil charm would dissuade them from wanting to cave his skull in. As Magneto was able [[PayEvilUntoEvil to give a personal vengeance to Red Skull]], a punishment so bad [[IgnoredEpiphany he almost ended up rethinking his life]], the "Jew hunter" lives in fear of what he might do to him. One non-Jew that Col Landa is on red alert for is B.J. Blazkowicz, though he does hold some VillainRespect for him; his crusade against the Nazis is one that rivals, if not even surpasses his arch-enemies, the Basterds.
* Many feel that the Basterds "went easy on him", though that's only because they could not afford to kill him. The Phantom Thieves of Heart don't plan to kill him, but they do plan to make him actually re-evaluate his life [[HeelFaceBrainwashing by stealing his heart, and thus force him to feel guilt for his actions]]. Landa muses "I wonder if [[FateWorseThanDeath I'd prefer execution]]...not that I'd ever want to test that, of course". Night Raid considers him someone to go after for his crimes regardless of red tape. Light Yagami plans to write his name in the Death Note, [[KnightTemplar though with less savory motives than most out for his blood]]. Hans Landa has rightly surmised that [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist his goals are more about power and pride than serving justice]], insulting him by saying "[[NotSoDifferentRemark I feel you would fit quite well with fascism if you were in the forties]]". And of course, there are the many Allied soldiers of WWII who want his head due to being a Nazi SS agent, even if it's not on the same PayEvilUntoEvil level as the Basterds. For bonus points the Red Viper of Dorne wants him to pay, as he's incensed by how he got away for the most part even if he had a karmic punishment.
* Most Allied soldiers still think it's BS that he managed to make a deal. It doesn't matter how ideological he is, he is a Nazi and even if the other Nazis refused to take him back, he would still be no less of a Nazi. The UsefulNotes/{{OSS}}, the very organization that spawned the Basterds, counts Lt. Patterson, Powell, and Manon Batiste among their members. Patterson and Powell have noted that Hans is [[EvilCounterpart a Nazi foil to them]]; they're highly intelligent and skilled officers serving as part of their countries' respective elite units. Manon Batiste sees Col Landa's actions as hitting close to home as she's a French Resistance fighter that personally fought members of the Waffen-SS. She even infiltrating their castle in Wewelsburg, Germany, stopping members of the SS from blowing up Paris during the Liberation of the city of light in 1944. She also personally killed a Resistance DoubleAgent who was working with the Waffen-SS. Whatever prejudices he may have, Hans is no fool and considers her one a formidable enemy.
* Lt Fairburne has been ordered by the UsefulNotes/{{SOE}}[[note]]the British equivalent of the OSS[[/note]], who he worked with during the Battle of Berlin, to capture and interrogate him for information. With his disgust and contempt for the Nazis as a whole, he'd trust a hungry shark before he'd trust Hans. To bring out the fear of God in Hans he's got a close associate of the Basterds on the phone; Private Robert Zussman, of US 1st Infantry Division. A German Jew captured by the Waffen-SS during Battle of the Bulge, forced to become a laborer, tortured, starved, beaten, and nearly executed by an SS officer? Yeah, you'd get why he'd, [[WebAnimation/DeathBattle to paraphrase]] [[Pantheon/RegretAndShame Omni-Man]], want to make Col Landa eat his own heart. Right behind him is [[Pantheon/MilitaryTechnology the Crew of the Fury]], who fought members of the Waffen-SS during the Battle of Germany in April 1945 (so around Hitler's death OTL). Their leader and tank commander Sgt. "Wardaddy" Collier in particular hates the Waffen-SS (implied to be due to the Malmedy Massacre that was committed by the 1st SS Panzer Division), and doesn't hesitate to execute their officers in cold blood as revenge, especially if said officers are guilty of murdering children and old men who refuse to fight for the dying Nazi regime.
* Hans Landa has a friendship with [[ANaziByAnyOtherName the somewhat but not quite Nazi]] Arnold Berkman. Major of the Germanian army's special unit, Berkman is a cunning figure who is ultimately more of an opportunist [[ItsAllAboutMe who's loyalty is to Numero Uno]], and got away unscathed. He's even more of a KarmaHoudini than Hans, [[EyeScream though he would lose an eye]]. The two enjoy swapping stories and participating in the finer things in life. Orson Krennic is another friend of Hans, as he's a well-dressed and [[FauxAffablyEvil superficially friendly]] fascist. They have different specialties though, as Hans is more of a detective/intelligence agent and Krennic develops military technology. [[Pantheon/OutlooksOnLife Tarkin]] was disappointed by their friendship as he had hoped to associate with Col Landa, but his own heated rivalry with Krennic causes just too much friction for that to be the case anymore. On the flip side, the obvious similarities with the Germanian army's ideology makes him a clear as day enemy of Archduchess Eylstadt as she' been subject to captivity and threats from the Germanian Empire. Coupled with his reputation and friendship with Berkman, she instantly hated him. By extension, Izetta hates him due to his association with the Nazis and HYDRA, who have tried to experiment on her following her ascension into the Pantheon.

That's a handy description of the alien terrorist known as Edgar the Bug, though strictly speaking "Edgar" is the name of his "disguise". Coming to Earth in hopes of obtaining [[MacGuffin the Arquillian Galaxy]], as a 12 foot cockroach he needed to keep that under wraps. So he killed a farm called Edgar and wore his hide like an ill-fitting suit. Given the radically different physiology [[StumblingInTheNewForm it made his movements awkward and gangly]], made worse by the fact [[BodyHorror natural decay was in effect]]. Still, it wouldn't matter if he got his plan to work; kickstart an Arquillian war against Earth, allowing him and his brethren to feed on all the dead bodies they want and use the power of the Galaxy for boundless energy. Time almost ran out, however he was fortunately thwarted by Agent J and Agent K. Even then, [[WesternAnimation/MenInBlackTheSeries he had family who wanted some payback for what happened]].
* Edgar woke up from a dream of a warm, humid land with rivers of sugar water and all the detritus and carrion he could eat. If that was "Bug Heaven", the Men in Black felt whatever god they have was feeling merciful all things considered. To his horror, he woke up in the human "Edgar suit", in a domicile with spare "Edgar suits". He noticed unlike the original they were artificial, making them more viable for a disguise. Calming down, he decided to ask if anyone was there and what this was about. He was approached by an ambassador of the Court of the Gods saying he had woken up in a larger universe, the Trope Pantheon, and despite his crimes he did earn a new title; God of StumblingInTheNewForm. Since this was a second chance of life, the roach decided to take this. The Men in Black were livid at yet another major perp making his face known, and he wasn't too fond of seeing them again either. But hey, at this point Agent K and Agent J have kind of gotten used to stuff like this happening.
* He's generally just called Edgar, sometimes Edgar the Bug or even the Bug. This is because his true name isn't stated in the movie or almost any other form of media. He doesn't mind if people use it, learning [[WesternAnimation/MenInBlackTheSeries his brother would go by Edwin]], but he mentions that he is named in the novelization-Kerb. Bugs [[AlwaysChaoticEvil have a rep of being full on nasty]], though EvenEvilHasLovedOnes is still in effect. And [[EvenEvilHasStandards he's not without standards]], like being annoyed by "primitive gender squabbling" and J's brazen womanizing. This makes him ALighterShadeOfBlack compared to Boris the Animal. Both have a clear arthropod thing going on and their own schemes to make their people prosper at the expense of the Earth, but Edgar considers his ambitions too destructive and that they stand in the way of his own goals. Boris thinks Edgar is a hypocrite, pointing out by endangering the Earth he was also endangering the insects he was fond of that lived on it. The two aren't enemies per say, as the MIB have their attention, but they don't even try to get along.
* It's not clear how exactly he got the "suit" "off" Edgar the farmer, [[GoryDiscretionShot but fortunately we never see the remains]]. [[GenuineHumanHide Given he's tight fit in human skin]], [[FlayingAlive the farmer didn't]] [[CruelAndUnusualDeath die peacefully]]. He wishes he could've made it a more fool-proof disguise, like how the Lich was able to fit into Billy's hide so well he even managed to hide the horn...and that's the only thing he'll say about the guy [[HorrifyingTheHorror as he's scared of the]] OmnicidalManiac. Ramsay Bolton wishes he could've witnessed what happened to the farmer and he wants to see Edgar more at work, as he's a fan of "[[FlayingAlive the Bolton tradition]]", however this creeps out Edgar. As he put it "[[FantasticRacism you mammals are under-evolved pond scum]] [[InsultToRocks but saying that would be a compliment]] [[EvenEvilHasStandards to a sicko like you!]]" He's more ambivalent towards [[Pantheon/ObsceneActions Leatherface]], the official holder of the GenuineHumanHide trope, but he still thinks he's a weirdo.
* His ability to impersonate human beings [[HughMann is limited]], though this is more due to physical problems than anything. Just because his disguise isn't all that convincing doesn't mean he's an idiot, as he's pretty cunning and good with technology; it's just that he's gotta make do what his massive frame permits. Rubber Soul heckled him for it, promoting his own ability to disguise himself, but rather than falling for the taunt the roach fired back; he critiqued him for [[PerfectDisguiseTerribleActing being so good at looking like other people, but not bothering to act like them]]. However he isn't interested in starting a fight, even if his {{Jerkass}} attitude annoys him, because he's curious as to what a properly trained Yellow Temperance could accomplish. Since Edgar is a hostile alien that impersonated a human being he's seen with distrust by the Crewmates. E.T also distrusts him, but for somewhat different reasons; Edgar's an alien hiding from the government, but in contrast to E.T he's a lot more hostile.
* There's some similarity to his disguise with [[Series/DoctorWho the Slitheen's skin suit]]. When Edgar learned about them, he decided he should try to go "for a vacation" on Raxacoricofallapatorius, since they had better suit disguise tech, but first he needed to take a snack. Said snack was Dib, who amusingly enough was fooled by his disguise[[note]]in fairness since his new disguise is artificial skin, it doesn't have the decay problem[[/note]] just long enough for the bug to get his hands on him. Fortunately the Doctor was present at the time and stopped him. Zim had a laugh at the whole thing but made it clear that Earth was his and [[TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou he's only one allowed to defeat Dib]]. His posturing ego initially put Edgar off, but he tolerates and will occasionally try to work with him against a shared foe as they're mean insectoids with an attitude and many enemies. Though maybe he just want to get close to Irken technology, he also agrees on how he dislikes humans.
* Edgar has a general empathy for what humans would call bugs. He lets regular cockroaches hitch a ride on his body [[BerserkButton and loses his temper if someone squashes a bug]]. Because of this, he's remarkably civil in the Halls of Arthropods and Insects, [[AffablyEvil and is genuinely friendly at the inhabitants]]. He only makes a couple of exceptions in Lolth and the Radiance, as [[CompleteMonster they're so depraved]] [[EvenEvilHasStandards he can't stomach them]]. Plus the Radiance has the power to control other bugs. Asides from the Terraformas, though, no-one there really shares his goals and he tends to get attention from the space cops. While usually peaceful there, there was a "bar fight" when, while enjoying a nice pitcher of sugar water, Swarm's bees started drinking it. Edgar doesn't like Fritz Von Meyer much, not so much that [[ThoseWackyNazis he's a Nazi]] ([[InformedAttribute it's not like he's espoused those beliefs that much]]) but because he dislikes seeing an undead human command bees.
* One of his friends is Arachne, God-Mother of SpiderPeople. Unlike the sociopathic Lolth she actually cares deeply for her brood, and he warmed himself up to her after thrashing around Billy for his abuse of spiders. Despite all of his crimes [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes Edgar has clear love for his kind]] and was appalled Billy would try to squish his own spider-son [[FriendlyNeighborhoodSpider who has been nothing but compassionate]] just because he has arachnophobia. He tried scooping his brains like ice cream [[YourBrainWontBeMuchOfAMeal but a hollow knock was all he got from his head]]. While more frog-like in his true form, and thus someone he's mildly prejudiced towards, Edgar likes Albedo somewhat due to his disgust for the human form he found himself stuck with. Due to hating humans more and his own inferiority complex he's somewhat sympathetic towards the Galvan. Albedo sees him more as a convenient ally to steal stuff for his experiments, but they'll still act relatively civil towards one another.
* You can often see him conversing and planning with the Terraformas, fellow roaches with a nasty attitude who look down on vertebrates. [[FantasticRacism Edgar's dislike of mammals]] might be partly down to [[InferioritySuperiorityComplex how arthropods are looked down on]]. While "space cops" are enemies of his pretty much by default, he is particularly contemptuous to governments that look down on his kind. The Imperium of Mankind is notoriously xenophobic, and see him as a disgusting Xenos criminal...I mean he is a criminal, but still. The Galactic Empire isn't as xenophobic, but they still don't like non-humans. Edgar cites their genocide of the Genosians as a reason to hate the empire, [[VillainHasAPoint and in fairness he's not wrong]], [[EvilVersusEvil nor is he that the Empire is an unpleasant institution]]. However he's seen as a rather minor threat by both governments, all things considered, which only made him angrier because he was being looked down upon. Less understandably, he's gotten hostile with Hank Pym and Shino Aburame as he doesn't like how they're humans that order around bugs, however he almost always pulls his punches so as to not harm the bugs they command. He somehow rationalizes this as "a dirty move" and uses this InsaneTrollLogic to fortify his own FantasticRacism.
* Though he doesn't like humans, he does make an exception for a few. As he's a criminal and a murderer who's actions endangered the Earth he's no friend of Agitha or James Henry Trotter, however he thinks [[YouAreACreditToYourRace "they're some of the good ones"]] due to their friendship and kinship with bugs. Mr Burns' curious fondness for bugs, with him being a beekeeper, got Edgar's attention. As an amoral billionaire he wasn't put off by Edgar being a 12 foot criminal cockroach and said that he would let him work at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant so he can make money to keep up the disguise. The bug decided "eh, why not?" and decided he could do with hiding in the plant when the cops come, as [[Pantheon/{{Officers}} Springfield's elite]] are incompetent and Mr Burns usually has a bribe ready. Edgar has gotten some "side-jobs" from Nute Gunray (via Poggle the Lesser's recommendations) and Jabba the Hutt, where he uses his criminal skills to do dirty work for them.
* He's made a few new attempts to steal artifacts of immense power. First off, he swindled [[Pantheon/ArtifactsLibrary the Universal Remote]], initially believing its powers were exaggerated because if not why wasn't in Pantheon/MaximumSecurity (which he tried and predictably failed to break into). Having heard of some of the risks, until Team Lightyear could surprise and catch him he used it mainly to pause time whenever the Men in Black were in his sight so he could make a getaway. His next caper was trying to sneak into the Spore Player Character's ship to steal it for himself and be able to use all the ship's incredible abilities for himself, but he got kicked out while trying to figure out the controls. Finally he went to Planet Express to steal one of [[Pantheon/SpeechAToM the Professor's]] doomsday devices. This...[[TheBadGuyWins actually worked]], albeit the main reason Farnsworth's lax attitude to said devices. That being said he didn't have much bad to say about [[Pantheon/{{Phrases}} Zoidberg]], [[InferioritySuperiorityComplex as on some level]] he can sympathize a bit with the ButtMonkey status of a fellow arthropod.

A lustful man defended from consequences due to his reputation and corruption by the principal, he has sexually harassed the female students on the volleyball team and is forcing Ann Takamaki to go out with him to keep Shiho on the team. He's not much better to the male students, putting them through hell with spiked volleyballs and other brutal "teaching methods". When he assaulted Shiho to get back at being rejected by Ann, his crimes would make him their first major target [[HeelFaceBrainwashing to have their heart change]]. After defeating his Shadow, representing the sin of Lust, his ego was broken and he was submitted to arrest and therapy for his narcissism. Despite being a StarterVillain, Kamoshida sets the standard for how dark the villains of ''VideoGame/Persona5'' are going to get, and he stands out being [[CompleteMonster shockingly depraved]] [[RealismInducedHorror despite his relatively down to earth villainy]].

After all, he had been ForcedToFeelEmpathy, so who in the right mind [[HappyEndingOverride would deny the Phantom Thieves a hard-earned victory?]] Well, it was obviously going to be someone in the ''wrong'' mind. [[Pantheon/{{Villainy}} Melkor]] has long since seen their ability to steal people's Heart as one of the more insidious strategies on the side of [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfGood Good]], and a couple of [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil Evil's followers]] wanted to "get even". Dr Light[[note]]the supervillain one, mind you[[/note]] and the Purple Man basically smuggled the disgraced PE teacher into the Trope Pantheon, and worked to reverse the change. The key word to restoring his personality was the Purple Man saying "be true to yourself". His first reaction upon being "restored to factory settings" was ''white-hot rage'' and humiliation about being subjected to what he considers a FateWorseThanDeath. He immediately grabbed a nearby gun with murder on his eyes, only to scream in pain that he was feeling bad for past actions. As it turns out the anti-brainwashing wasn't complete; whenever he attempts to do something even more evil than normal like try to murder the Phantom Thieves or fantasize about ColdBloodedTorture, the forced empathy briefly re-asserts itself like a MoralityChain. For now, Kamoshida has decided to just get used to his surroundings and enjoy that he is mostly "cured" of what they did to him.
* He manages to earn the personal ire of all four of the founding Thieves: he lusts after Ann and drove her friend to attempt suicide, broke Ryuji's leg back when he was a track star, told everyone to spread rumors about the Protagonist both because he stood up to him and because he wanted to, and his Shadow would have executed Morgana had the Protagonist and Ryuji not intervened. A PsychopathicManchild of an athlete, [[EntitledBastard he thinks his past success makes him entitled to whatever he wants]] and despise the Phantom Thieves more than anything [[HeelFaceBrainwashing for having destroyed that sense of entitlement]]. Suguru Kamoshida despises brainwashers even if they have the best of intentions in doing so, though admittedly most are pretty bad people themselves. [[ItsAllAboutMe Personal insults are more why he hates those people than anything else]], which is why he makes the exception for Killgrave; [[PowerPerversionPotential he wants his abilities for the]] [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil worst kind of reasons]]. He also attempted to reach out to Jervish Tetch, trying to relate his obsession with Ann to his obsession with Alice. While the Mad Hatter is undoubtedly creepy, Tetch [[ComicBook/ArkhamAsylumASeriousHouseOnSeriousEarth usually]] isn't a pedophile and it's more about wanting to live out the character role of the Mad Hatter.

Any attempt to change his trope to "God of Volleyball" was met with scorn, and one of the only times [=LaFleur=] and Goodman [[EnemyMine will team up]] is to give Suguru Kamoshida a taste of his own medicine with dodgeball. The only reason he is not banned from the House of School as well is by virtue of [[CreepyGymCoach his trope]]. With his true nature known, [[HatedByAll he is the most despised member of the house]]. Yes, [[Pantheon/SchoolTypes the Death Busters]] are enemies of most of the Trope Pantheon [[OmnicidalManiac because of their goal]], but they still don't bring out the disgust that Suguru Kamoshida does. Far as [[Pantheon/SchoolTypes Mao]] is concerned, [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters he is worse than any demon]]. The only member of the Hall of Pantheon/{{Students}} that even tolerates him is Biff Tannen, what with him being TheBully and an [[AttemptedRape attempted rapist]]. Even then the OlderAndWiser 2015 Biff bemoans him as StupidEvil.
* He's a pariah in the Hall of Pantheon/{{Teachers}} and considered one of the worst teachers ever., [[EvenEvilHasStandards Even Denzel Crocker wants nothing to do with him]]. Izumi Curtis calls out his "tough love" as an excuse to indulge in his sadism, and as someone with [[SinkOrSwimMentor a tough but productive training regiment]] she can tell the difference. Eikichi Onizuka may be somewhat of a pervert [[EveryoneHasStandards but he'd never think to try and get fresh with the female students]] and has organized a brutal hazing ritual for his arrival. One of his only allies there is the Trunchbull, and even then, she only tolerates him as a means of enforcing control over the students [[SadistTeacher through fear]]. For all her faults, she's not a sexual predator. Umbridge agrees with that kind of method, though she has even less standards and is a straight up ally of Kamoshida. As Suguru Kamoshida used to be a follower of Agitha Trunchbull, he's annoyed that she's deciding to have standards now, as he hoped she would be his confidant in their house.
* Freddy Krueger [[Film/ANightmareOnElmStreetPart2FreddysRevenge mused that he once killed]] a CreepyGymCoach, one Mr Schneider. This is notable in being one of the only victims of his [[AssholeVictim that probably had it coming]]. Kamoshida doesn't have to worry about him passing judgement, though; Krueger is a child killer and implied (or explicit in the remakes) pedophile who used to work as a groundskeeper at a school. He gets along amicably with Kamoshida, as his own gimmick is using mental worlds to inflict suffering on his victims. Suguru Kamoshida dreams of one day having similar powers to get his revenge, though he can't focus on said revenge until he learns to quiet the BrainwashResidue that "speaks up" when he's feeling particularly violent. Given his trope, Suguru Kamoshida would get a surprise visit from Doge and the gang. They have their own [[CreepyGymCoach "Coach Henry"]], though he usually benefits from being TheComicallySerious and a DevilInPlainSight because of the comedic nature of the ''Webcomic/{{Dogelore}}'' comics. Kamoshida didn't have the shield of being seen as "ironically wholesome", what with being a disturbingly realistic predator, [[PayEvilUntoEvil so Cheems gave him a very much karmic and brutal bonking session]].
* Suguru Kamoshida was fairly popular with female students who haven't heard or don't believe the rumors about him. While he was capable of having more ethical hook-ups and relationships, like Glenn Quagmire, he's also a malignant narcissist and DirtyOldMan [[{{Ephebophile}} interested in teenagers]]. Comparisons could be made with him and Glenn Quagmire, with many noting the only reason Quagmire isn't seen as depraved as Kamoshida is because [[BlackComedyRape of tonal reasons]], and to Quagmire's credit [[AffablyEvil he tends to legitimately get along to people when not in pervert mode]]. The two are drinking buddies, though not friends since Quagmire would rather not get more negative attention by association and [[EvenEvilHasStandards he does have]] [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes some redeeming qualities]], something you can't say about [[HateSink Kamoshida]]. Another drinking buddy of the disgraced athlete is Frollo, who has his own obsession with his LustObject, but his entitlement is more of the [[KnightTemplar self-righteous]] kind compared to the Bastard King of Lust. His Shadow's association with {{Asmodeus}} and the aforementioned self-righteousness prevents them from being anything more than drinking buddies.

His very small friend group is mostly other sex offenders and outright rapists. The two often go to cocktail parties with the Yellow Bastard, who's daddy basically gives them asylum for their "habits". Ethan Roark Junior is so awful that Suguru Kamoshida can seen ''almost'' quaint by comparison, however [[RealismInducedHorror the latter is seen as the more realistic villain]]. Their meet ups are down to "safety in numbers" more than anything.

He's bullied by his alter and forced to use summon him to avoid being assaulted. It's clear the only solution Miracleman has is to ShootTheDog the poor kid

The Ring can find what the wielder is looking for like a compass, but benefits are outweighed by the malignant evil in the item. [[Anime/YuGiOhTheDarkSideOfDimensions Even without Zorc or the Thief King, it's still corruptive]]. Voldemort was fascinated by these items since they work as a sort of [[SoulJar Horcrux variant]], though the abilities and how they function as "horcruxes" is somewhat different. He doesn't intend to steal them because he can't make a horcrux over something already "occupied" like they are, but it has inspired him to try and steal the other Millennium Items and make ''them'' horcruxes. Zorc is intrigued by this since it could allow him to influence Voldemort, but he and by extension Yami Bakura refuse to let him co-opt the artifacts.

They've met privately to discuss assassination plans on some of their own allies in case they prove to be a "liability", the details of which are a tight-knit secret but nothing out of the ordinary for the Nazis more skeptical of Hans. For now, at worst Hans Landa is a reliable traitor.
