^^^^ Lootboxes are the electronic equivalent of booster packs in CollectibleCardGames. CardBattleGames don't count unless you can pay for booster packs with real money. RandomDrop is also related.

Also, the description mentions "some countries may take legal action against lootboxes in future" as a major point in their history, but doesn't mention [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loot_box any of the countries that already did that]].

Should probably include something about the distinction between Cosmetic Lootboxes like ''Overwatch'' and what that video calls "Wilson Lootboxes" that are Pay-to-Win, and how the former are better-received.
