Second'd heavily. This story is a beautiful read that is both historically fascinating, and a complete jumble of emotions that leave you breathless. Don't be put off at all by the Original Character in the story, and any other that crops up; this is a moving, poignant, and well-researched piece of work that will have you reading it several times over just to really commit it to memory.

Don't be put off by the fact that it focuses on an Original Character — the cast it as present, though not in the very center. Definetley a Tear Jerker if there ever was one. The fic is just exploding with emotions and may be very painful to read because of the focus on both the Holocaust. Israel's pain might come haunt you. But still amazing writing and a very good read.
