Probably tied as the funniest form Pokemon has ever taken (the other one is Black Adventures.) Kenta, Mary-Sue, and all the other side characters bounce off each other in an amazingly funny way. Kenta feels very real, especially considering he's a normal kid with a team that a lot of players would have at this point. It makes it all the more funny as Mary-Sue charges in with terrible grammar and a team full of complete overpoweredness. After I first read this, I didn't think it could get better. Then I went back to it after I became a frequent RPer, and boy was I wrong. I'm the one constantly in Kenta's place, and being able to relate to him was a huge joy. The fourth wall breaks, callbacks, and daily happenings are all hilarious. The fic even retains a sense of this during the final battles. This author did write the "boss battle" in invisible text, seeing as it's the only totally serious part of the story, but after the long journey up to it, it just feels right, The humor also keeps you connected to the characters, making you love everything that happens. I won't spoil anything, but my personal favorite jokes have got to be the bad-luck Absol. And the recurring character of Satan. But that's only the tip of the iceberg, trust me.
Overall, it's a must-read for anyone who knows the slightest bit about Pokemon, especially Hoenn.
