Seconding the recommendation. I was surprised at how incredibly Original Flavor it was, and the ending is truly remarkable and worth reading. There's also a wonderful Crowning Moment Of Funny delivered by Alfred that I won't spoil, and every single character is in character. This crossover is everything a crossover should be.

The fic surprisingly captures both Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's style and Victorian Britain fairly well. It also helped that the real mystery was solved not by Holmes, but by Watson when he recognized Arthur's image.
