Reviews: Interesting Times

Quite an Interesting Book!

If you love Rincewind's character arc, you're going to love this book. Like other Rincewind novels, this book takes you far away from Ankh-Morpork and into the Aurient, the Agatean Empire. One thing I love about this book is all the nods back to earlier books, even making references as far back as The Colour Of Magic and The Light Fantastic.

What made the book for me was the return of Twoflower. Showing his Hidden Depths really made me feel more for him as a character. It also showed how strong he really is as a character. (I won't give away any spoilers. You'll see it when it happens.)

This is a great read. It starts off a little slow in the beginning, but once Rincewind is actually in the Empire, things pick up. And as always, Pratchett does not disappoint me with the way he ended his story.

I recommend this to my fellow Discworld readers, especially fans of Rincewind, Twoflower, or Cohen the Barbarian. All three of them made for quite an interesting book!
