Marvin back to reviews

Jesus christ this is awful
No, i don't think anything else needs to be said. I mean, you probably clicked the links already, you've seen how shit this comic is. But since pictures don't speak for themselves, here are the main points. This is a recycled comic strip. The art is reused, the jokes are reused, and neither was good to begin with. There are bad puns everywhere that the author feels the need to explain anyway, the art is horrendously boring with the main character suffering a bad case of what i call "Family Guy Face", and every punchline revolves around toilet humour and rambunctious kids. Even though i wrote this review as joke, the joke is still on me, since i had to read a single comic of this effortless garbage. Marvin is dull. Dull, dull, dull. It's a wonder that people can make snark bait out of it, since just reading it bores me to tears.
This is not a review. It needs WAY more detail than this. Yes, more needs to be said.

Better? I intended this review for people who clicked a few links on the main page, groaned at the lame jokes, and then came back here to agree with the obvious. Comics like this belong in the garbage bin with "Family Circus" (which wore out its welcome years ago and still trots on to appease the senior citizens who read it) and "Marmaduke" (see "Family Circus").

Better. My personal opinion is that Marvin was once good, but wore out once the author felt the need to press the reset button and push back all the progress again. Marvin was becoming a character, he was learning to walk!, and it all slid back for more jokes.

then that would make for a very poor review don't you think.

Even though i wrote this review as joke

thanks for initially planning to waste our time.

why did you made a review here if all you wanted was for people to agree with you?

^ The review was initially just a joke that meant to say "Yeah, that was shit". Even from a mostly neutral standpoint, the article made the comic seem really bad. It's like, "Man this comic sucks. There's a review? *reads* Pfft. Yeah". However, that's a good point you brought up about expecting people to agree with you. This comic might have fans, so i can't just go out and say something so meaninglessly derogatory without reprisal. If i'm going to review something, i have to put thought into it and not just waste bandwidth.
