I first became familiar with this series when it aired back in 2006 on BBC America and was woefully disappointed by it's short season and tendency to cut off plots and make weird decisions. The slap-dash killing off of Cassie, out of character moments, missed moments of potential storytelling, the re-tooling of several characters to name a few...
However... that doesn't mean it's not worth checking out if you don't take it too seriously, and are prepared to fill in the blanks for yourself, and it's got a ghostly lesbian in it! Come on, that's awesome.
Oh, and you can make jokes about the demon's name. Because you KNOW you're going to.
