I remember back when gameplay for this was being dribbled out, and details on all the things being cut from the previous titles. I remember saying at the time 'This is going to be shit.'
To which I was promptly called a 'hater' by delusional fanboys.
Am I glad I was proven right on this? Not really. Battlefront deserved so much better, and DICE had to actively go out of their way to fuck up such an easy victory for them. Battlefront 3 should've been the Phoenix from the ashes, instead laziness and corporate greed reduced it to a pile of Seagull crap.

Totally agree. It\'s not even the level of 1st Star Wars Battlefront, and it was not so bad at all! Just like Asger, I though the same. Pity I was right.

Terrible
No other way to say it, it's terrible, not "okay" defiantly not "good" or higher, not just "bad" it's terrible.
Gameplay: Way too casual, boring for competitive players, boring for casuals after a few days. Gunplay is unchallenging and bland, vehicles aren't fun, and only 4 of the 6 heroes/villains are actually fun, and 2 of them play similarly.
Graphics: Will be outdated in a few years, if not then unnecessarily high as more focus was put onto looks over everything else. But yeah, it looks pretty... for now.
Varity: There is none... okay, there's a little, but not much. It's basic multiplayer modes, a few "unique" modes, and a horde mode you can play by yourself or with a friend. To exemplify the lack of verity, compare to Battlefront 2 which had a ton of heroes and villains to play from across the entire series, EA Battlefront has 6, and no they're not that deep so it's not a case of "quality over quantity".
Campaign: There is none.
Post-launch content: There will be some amount, as of this review EA has not revealed what will be part of the Season Pass, but I'm sure it'll just be maps and maybe a few new modes. Also $50 season pass, so fuck that noise.
Was it worth the wait for a Battlefront 3?
