An affront to District B13

It's an exact copy of District B13, except worse in every way. Paul Walker (Ri P) just isn't as good as the original Damien (and his introductory scenes aren't nearly as badass). This version of Taha is far less entertainingly insane, and the new K2 lacks the charisma of the original. The parkour bits and the fight scenes are far more confusing and just less well done. The dialogue that had this nice flow in the original just isn't done justice here. And the stuff that is changed? That's for the worse. Leto's sister is now his girlfriend, and she completely lacks the personality that made her awesome in the original. District B13 was basically a french take on the American tough guy action movie. It felt fresh and different. The American remake just feels shitty and generic. It lacks everything that made district B13 special. Yes. I am personally offended by this.

From what I've seen of the movie, it seems they recycled some scene shot by shot. Is it true ?

Also, minor nitpick, but since Banlieue can be translated to Distirct the film is either name District 13 or Banlieue 13.
