I politely suggest removing the Video Game Movies Suck entry for now. I mean, the movie is barely up yet and didn't even have time to get solid receptions, it's a bit soon to call it bad.
Hide / Show RepliesRemoving entries because you disagree with them, like mine were, is not very polite.
I suggest moving the current entry, as well as "So okay it is average" into "Broken Base"
I didn't remove it, just suggested removing it; that's precisely the reason I suggest removing it here before actually doing it, because just removing it right away wouldn't be polite. And that's not because I disagree with it (I haven't even seen the movie by this point), but more because I feel it's too soon to judge the movie as an example of this trope. If it does indeed proves to be badly received after, say, a week or two, I see no problem with putting it back. But right now we barely are on the opening weekend, at least in my country.

Just wondering why this is considered a Cliché Storm? The example just says that others said it was but it doesn't list the cliches the movie apparently uses. Sure it uses a lot of fantasy tropes, but I wouldn't say the plot of an invading army cutting a deal with their enemies to save their people is cliched. And Garona killing the king so she can bring peace from within certainly isn't the most obvious story direction. So which cliches is the movie full of, besides swordfighting and magic?
