Do people really see Kukuri as a love interest for Shiro? There is absolutely no chemistry between them, and Shiro/Kuroh is clearly more prominent in the story (not to mention overt in the official art). And Kukuri/Souta. Kukuri/Neko also seems a lot more probable than Kukuri/Shiro. There are dozens of places where there would be *some sort of reaction* if there were anything between them, but there isn't. It seems like people who see Kukuri that way just have a persecution complex over shipping. I don't think the page should give play to that sort of attitude.

I made this Idolized Julius Kingsley icon back when Akito first came out, and now that the crossover is actually happening, I don't care.

I want to add a Moral Dissonance entry, but I can understand that it might be a little polarizing. As such, I'm starting it here to make sure there's a consensus and relatively un-biased entry.

  • Moral Dissonance: The anime follows several factions—two of which are HOMRA, who are violent delinquents, and SCEPTER 4, who are a near-fascist police force who won't answer to the government. Despite their severe lack of moral compunction, all sides are given screen-time and sympathetic qualities, to the extent that no side can be considered an antagonist by itself. There's nothing wrong with that approach in and of itself, but the ending really hits it home: The near-completely innocent protagonist, who is the most heroic character in the show, dies (willingly and for the greater good) at the hands of the Red King Mikoto. Mikoto himself dies soon after, but he is happy and at peace. The ending focuses on HOMRA celebrating their leader and SCEPTER 4 celebrating their leader's safe return, and plays both off as heartwarming and sad. In the meantime, Shiro dies as a villain in all their eyes, while only Kuroh and Neko mourn him.

That's a little extreme. Scepter 4 is way too small to be "fascist", HOMRA aren't that violent (they seem to be more like the ones keeping the gangs in check, rather than doing much of that sort of activity themselves). And Kusanagi and Awashima know that [[spoiler Shiro was actually Weismann]], so they'd set the record straight (not to mention season 2 and the movie clear that up). And there's no reason HOMRA in the end shouldn't be emotionally resonant.
