The little girl Sasha is Russian/Caucasian, if that helps. Also the tour guide isn't even Caucasian ( or at least not fully) He has a distinct tan, and he's been confirmed by Word of God to be a distant relation of Maria, making him at least part Hispanic.
Edited by EnjoydamomentIs there a trope for that moment before Monolo's final test to come back to life. Where Xibalba looks directly at Monolo, the skulls in his eyes finally show both eye sockets, and Xibalba says that he's looking into Monolo for his worst fear (which turned out to be having to face up to his families bloody legacy). I have a feeling that there's a trope for what Xibalba did there, but I can't put a name to it. Help?
Hide / Show RepliesThat's a good one, and absolutely relevant to that situation, but not quite what I was going for. I was referring more to Xibalba's act off looking into Monolo to find that fear rather than Monolo's facing of it
What's up with all the commented-out tropes? Some I get as Zero Content Examples, but others seem to be full of information with no explanation to be found.
Edited by 66.189.207.230It says many times on the main page that spoilers: Joaquin looses his mustache at the end of the movie but I'm pretty sure he still has it. Does anyone have proof of whether or not this is true?
Edited by 68.226.105.141 Lookin' for love in all the wrong placesI am not quite sure, but I think I saw some reference from Joaquin during a freeze frame shot. He strikes the "Dark Knight Returns" jumping pose. I dont know if it should go under "Freeze frame bonus" or "Shout out"
Considering the movie is pretty much all non-white characters, is there a trope that applies without the Unfortunate Implications of Five-Token Band, since the only white character in the movie is the museum guard Mary Beth sends away at the very beginning? Or do we just need to elaborate a bit on the trope for clarity's sake?
