I probably don't need to explain this, but I felt like responding to a couple things here. I changed the Aesop Amnesia point here because it's easy to see Marlin's newly returned overprotection is justified and understandable.
- It's not necessarily that he hated travelling in the current, it's probably that doing so is simply something his body doesn't agree with. Also remember there are parts of the EAC that are calm & leisurely, but they were in a part approaching their offramp (so to speak) where it was much faster and, like in the first film, they have to yell at each other just to be heard. He might like the smooth parts while hating these ones.
- More of a complainer? I think he handled himself pretty well when it came to Dory constantly trying to get in the anemone early in the morning. It's been a year since they met; that can't be the first time that's happened. If anything, he's become more patient. He only gets more wound up than usual when things are more dire than usual.

So, Finding Dory is released in most places just yesterday, on the 17th of June, right? In Indonesia, where I live, Finding Dory is released on the 8th or 9th.
I wonder if Finding Dory is released early in any other countries.

Under Artistic License – Biology, there is a point saying that "Destiny the whale shark seems to be considered a type of whale, when she actually is a shark." Re-watching here scenes, I noticed she "speaks whale" with Dory, and once says "it's kind of tough for a whale to travel around here", but Dory also refers to her as a "fish" several times, and her anatomy is largely correct for a whale shark, complete with gills. Maybe the example should be rephrased.
