Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI removed this from the work summary:
Sonic is 8 in it, and Tails is 4 (a joke is sometimes made when Tails reminds Sonic he's 4 and can't read or write yet). It was made shortly before Sonic was given a canon age of 15 as well as being the general age the show was aimed at.
Do anyone have proof of Sonic being 8 in this series? If I recall correctly, one episode has Robotnik refer to him as "one troublemaking teenager" (emphasis mine).
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Removed the character tropes from the page:
- Absent-Minded Professor: Professor Von Schlemmer, a textbook example.
- Absolute Cleavage: Breezie, and one shot human villainess Catella.
- Adult Child: Dr Robotnik.
- Anime Hair: Dr. Quark and Professor Von Schlemmer.
- Angrish: Robotnik, almost constantly.
- Annoying Laugh: Scratch: "Ba-HA ha-HAAAA!!"
- Arm Cannon: Grounder
- Audio Erotica: Breezie's seductive voice is enough to make the fans go nuts, not to mention the rest of her.
- Badass Mustache: Doctor Ivo Robotnik. Also, Mama Robotnik for a rare female example.
- Badbutt: Sonic most definitely fits.
- Bald of Evil: Sonic has frustrated Robotnik so much, he made him "Tear every hair from my BEAUUUUUTIFUL HEAD!"
- Bad Boss: Robotnik comically verbally and physically abuses his "metallic moron" minions on a very frequent basis. On more than a few occasions he has also proved to find them rather despensible as well.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Mama Robotnik.
- Black Eyes of Evil: Robotnik has black eyes with two red pupils.
- Boobs Of Steel: Breezie, literally.
- Butt-Monkey: Robotnik's lackey Coconuts, who is actually a monkey, takes abuse most of the time simply for existing despite his rather extreme effort and enthusiasm, getting demoted constantly for mostly nothing. Scratch and Grounder aren't much better off either, but unlike Coconuts they at least don't get demoted (althought Robotnik admits they're useless anyways).
- Card-Carrying Villain: Played with regarding Robotnik. Sure, he likes being called despicable but there are moments when he will pretend to be a hero if his plans require it. An example of this would be Over The Hill Hero, where he says to Captain Rescue "I think we can fight rotten-ness just as good as that hedgehog..
- Cat Girl: Catty Carlisle.
- Chick Magnet: Sonic, so very much.
- Child Prodigy: Tails keeps up with Sonic's lower cruising speeds, saves the day on occasion, built a flying bicycle from scrap, studies the Big Bang in kindergarten — and is four-and-a-half years old. And that's assuming you write up his claim of illiteracy to Negative Continuity.
- Cloud Cuckoolander: Dr. Warpnik, Sketch Lampoon, and Professor Von Schlemmer.
- Cool Little Bro: Tails, so very much.
- Dark Skinned Blond: Roxy the waitress is a raccoon with blond hair.
- Dark Skinned Redhead: Sonette is a brown squirrel with red hair.
- Dastardly Whiplash: Robotnik has some of this trope's characteristics, most notably mustahe-twirling, open and two-dimensional eeevilness and bombastic diabolical laughter.
- Deadpan Snarker: Robotnik himself.
Coconuts: I only wanted to tell you I saw one of those F.O.U's - I mean, C.I.A's, uh, or C.O.D's...Robotnik: Get to the point or your name will be M.U.D.
- Also Dr. Quark's assistant D.O.O.F.U.S. takes this Up To Eleven.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: Breezie.
- Designated Victim: Tails. And how!
- Do-Anything Robot: Scratch and Grounder are full of all sorts of tools, up to and including inflatable supermodel decoys.
- Dumb Muscle: Da' Bears. Boom Boom as well, although in his defense he's an infant.
- Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: Dr. Robotnik fears his mother, but he still loves her.
- Everyone Loves Blondes: Sonic for Merna the Merhog and Roxy the waitress.
- Evil Redhead: Catella and Dr. Quark.
- Evil Laugh: Robotnik has a few utterly excellent ones, but the one that stands out the most is Scratch's rooster laugh, which sounds like a trumpet.
- Evil Is Hammy: Robotnik takes it up to eleven.
- Evilly Affable: Though Robotnik's villainy is taken somewhat lightly, some of it can seem pretty extreme when you think about it.
- Evil Twin: Pseudo Sonic.
- Expressive Hair: Warpnik
- Fat Bastard: Dr. Robotnik.
- Fiery Redhead: Catella.
- Also Robotnik and his mother.
- Fluffy the Terrible: Dr. Quark's assistant D.O.O.F.U.S. is highly intelligent and very powerful.
- Freudian Excuse: Dr. Robotnik is implied to have one in the form of his abusive mother, Momma Robotnik.
- Funny Foreigner: Capitan William Le Duck.
- Genius Ditz: Professor Von Schlemmer.
- Genre Blindness: Sonic tricks Grounder and Scratch endlessly all the time with various disguises, yet as far as they seem to know there's just a lot of hedgehogs all over the planet with a series of different and very diverse jobs.
- Genre Savvy: Robotnik. He may not fair much better than Grounder and Scratch in the department of victory, but at least he knows enough to try different methods to keep Sonic away (such as tempered steel and tricking people around Sonic rather than getting Sonic himself), and even then always assumes Sonic will show up and take out Scratch and Grounder at the minimum.
- Girls Have Cooties: Tails.
- Guile Hero: Sonic and Tails at certain times.
- Heel–Face Turn (Robotnik Jr. and Breezie)
- Heel–Face Revolving Door: Wes Weasley. He goes from evil salesman to selling a gadget to ruin Robotnik's life for a day, back to selling evil potions to stop Sonic to throwing sonic a dinner party which turns out to be a trap, but then saves Sonic when he gets double crossed but in the following appearance he tells Robotnik it was nothing personal and helps him run for president AND THEN when Robotnik loses he becomes the good candidates press secretary! At this point he has the automatic function active on the door.
- Heroes Want Redheads: Double-inverted with Catella and Dr. Robotnik. Catella's a redheaded villainess who wants Dr. Robotnik, another redheaded villain that doesn't want her.
- Also inverted with Sonic and Sonette, due to her being a Stalker with a Crush.
- Played straight with Lucas and Lucinda in the episode "Best Hedgehog".
- Heterosexual Life-Partners Sonic and Tails, as well as Da Bears!
- Honest John's Dealership Wes Weasley
- Hot Amazon: Catella all the way.
- Informed Deformity: There's a lot made of Scratch and Grounder's supposed ugliness.
- Lady in Red: Breezie.
- Large Ham: Robotnik. Oh God, Robotnik. And his mother is even worse.
- Guess it just runs in the family.
- Laser-Guided Tyke-Bomb: The Sonic Super Special Search and Smash Squad. This combined with Goldfish Poop Gang. Robotnik created Scratch and Grounder for the express purpose of hunting down and killing Sonic, but since the two have only a quarter of a brain between them, Sonic always ends up the winner.
- Last-Name Basis: Dr. Robotnik, whose first name "Ivo" is only mentioned twice in the whole series.
- Laughably Evil: Dr. Robotnik, partly in thanks to Youtube Poop.
- Not to mention Long John Baldry's wonderfully over-the-top performance.
- Love Makes You Dumb: Robotnik Jr. proves this in "Sonic The Matchmaker".
- Mad Scientist: Robotnik. His cousin Warpnik takes the "mad" part of this to an extreme.
- The Magnificent: Listening to how Scratch and Grounder address Robotnik is one of the best parts of the show. Such as "Your Masochisticness".
- Meaningful Name: Most characters in the series have these.
- Most Common Superpower: Breezie and Katella.
- Ms. Fanservice: Breezie,so very much. She even gets her own Panty Shot in the episode "Sonic The Matchmaker".
- Also Katella, a very busty Fiery Redhead Action Girl, who is extremely aggressive in her romantic pursuit of Robotnik. Also, some of her means of displaying affection towards Robotnik, aside from being somewhat violent, also clearly look sexual.
- My Beloved Smother: Robotnik, despite his evil nature, is completely at the mercy of his mother, who is even more demanding and has a really bad temper
- Old Superhero: Captain Rescue
- One Head Taller: Robotnik Jr. and Breezie.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Tails. This actually becomes a plot point in one episode, when a couple appears claiming to be his parents. Sonic eventually realizes that, if they were really his parents, they shouldn't have been calling him Tails; they should have been calling him Miles.
- Panty Shot: One, from Breezie in "Sonic the Matchmaker"
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Much of Sonic's disguises are this. One's just Sonic with a hat and a bag of mail, and they fall for it.
- Lampshaded by Sonic when, to his alarm, sufficient doses of downloaded ninjutsu allow Scratch and Grounder to see through a disguise.
- Also in the episode Grounder the Genius twice. The first time Sonic visits the fortress as a "Chip Recycler" and looks for the genius chip. Grounder says he has it which Sonic tries to get him, however Grounder, now being a genius, petrifies him aware that this would happen. Another example is later where Grounder makes out a trap and tosses it away far before anything bad happens. Sonic takes off his disguise and Grounder states he already knew Sonic was going to pull that.
- At one point, Sonic even winks at the audience while showing himself through disguise.
- In Too Tall Tails Sonic actually takes off his disguise mid way through one of his schemes. Scratch and Grounder still don't recognise him!
- Dr. Robotnik actually does manage to see through the majority of Sonic's disguises, however the few times he does it is either a few moments too late, or he's too far away to tell Grounder and Scratch, the ones typically being tricked.
- Lampshaded by Sonic when, to his alarm, sufficient doses of downloaded ninjutsu allow Scratch and Grounder to see through a disguise.
- Parental Abandonment:Tails
- Parents for a Day: Scratch and Grounder, for one episode. Sonic and Tails babysitting Beavers in another.
- Prophet Eyes: Sonette
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Played straight with Robotnik, but Averted with Robotnik Jr.
- Rescue Romance Played straight, and invoked at one point
- The Rival: Dr. Quark for Dr. Robotnik.
- Robo Sexual: Robotnik himself proved this when he created a robot wife.
- Robot Girl: Breezie
- Robotic Spouse: Robotnik creates one for himself in one episode
- And another when he was running for president.
- Rule-Abiding Rebel: Sonic
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Due to various circumstances, D.O.O.F.U.S. (Quark's robot henchman) opts for doing this near the end of "Robotnik's Rival".
- Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: Whenever Robotnik's insulting his minions, he goes through enough big words to fill a novel "Seditious slabs of insalubrious circuitry!"). Scratch and Grounder struggle to find big enough words to address him, and come up with things like "putridity", "maliciousness", "repulsiveness", and so on.
- Sharp-Dressed Man: Sonic in some of his disguises counts for this.
- Shes Got Legs: Breezie and Catella.
- Shirtless Scene: Robotnik gets quite a few
- Simpleton Voice: Grounder
- Smug Snake: Grounder, when he temporarily becomes a genius.
- Stalker with a Crush: Sonette and Catella.
- Strong Family Resemblance: At one point, Mama Robotnik had a mustache just like her son's.
- Swiss-Army Weapon: Grounder.
- Tagalong Kid: Tails.
- Teen Genius: Sonic has his moments of this.
- Terrible Trio: The Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad
- Those Two Bad Guys: Scratch and Grounder.
- Those Two Guys: Da' Bears.
- Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: Robotnik Jr. and Breezie.
- Trrrilling Rrrs Dr. Rrrobotnik does this quite frrrequently
- "I'll have to :give myself a PRRRRROMOTION"
- Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: Robotnik Jr. and Breezie. Also Robotnik and Catella.
- Unmoving Plaid: Wes Weasley
- The Vamp: Breezie and Catella.
- Yiddish as a Second Language: At one point, Robotnik's mother calls him "Bubbeleh."
Since they were taking up a good chunk of the page, I think it would be better to make a separate Characters page for them.

Edited by NewCope I draw this comic-like thing sometimes."Snoo PING AS usual, I see!" -Dr. Robotnik
Why is this not the main quote?
Edited by AetherTeen Hide / Show RepliesA quote should sum up the work as a whole, so to speak. I fail to see how a tired internet meme accomplishes that.
The moderators support rape-shaming culture. If you're going to cut down on a trope as important as 'children are shamed into lying about abuse' you support it. I've seen tropes longer than that left alone. Don't PM me about saying such a thing is left for forums and then claim some anvils need to be dropped, leave the original message alone or delete it completely.
