I have to make an observation to the Super Mario 64 DS entry. Is not true that there's nothing on the castle's roof: If you go there with Luigi, you'll find the last of the rabbits to catch, and by doing this you complete the minigames collection and achieve the full 100% Completion.

Having never played the game before, can someone answer me this question: In Ultima IX, if your class is a paladin, would the Avatar ask "what's a paladin?" Or am I missing something?

As of new edit: I have heard there is finally one villain in the Tales series who is irredeemably evil and the game and its cast DOESN'T pretend they're good people underneath or some stupid shit. Didn't wanna put it in the main article, obviously but yeah, just thought it might need mentioning. I do agree the Tales series is pretty damn bad for its very, VERY misplaced sympathy for devils. Ain't that right, Mohs?

I want to know if this is too close to Real Life to put on this page. Cartoon Network's FusionFall: The reason we haven't seen folks like Lazlo, Gumball, Darwin, or Mordecai, or Rigby as NP Cs is because the animators find it hard to animate animals. Recently, though, they added Fred Fredburger*]] and Gunther, who are an elephant...thing and a penguin respectively. If they can add them, why the heck can't they add the aformentioned characters?!?!?

Something ot say about the Dot NW section. I think it's kinda lessened by the fact that Marta's probably reacting more towards who's doing the punishment; Emil. You know, the guy who we've seen as really freaking timid and kind-hearted? Seeing him suddenly shift from that to a cold-hearted, rude person who seems to take great pleasure in stomping on the general's head after defeating him, taunting him coldly, when all Marta and the audience know is that he's doing his job, albeit that he's a real *beep* about it. Also, HOW THE HELL IS A ONE FOOT FALL SUPPOSED TO NEARLY KILL YOU? He didn't fall on his sword or anything, from what I saw. He just stumbled, fell down, then went Ratatosk mode. I might have misread the section so please feel free to correct me but until that happens, my point stands that the moment they're talking about... needs better clarity.

Question; is it in bad taste to post a potentially scathing rebuttal based on two accounts of overreaction (Specifically, Lego Island 2 and Skyward Sword's entry)?
07:04:25 PM Mar 17th 2012
Yes. Also, it would be natter.

Could someone explain these two examples?
- Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games. Why was Rouge, an Anti-Hero, a boss, and Bowser, Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Bowser Jr, villains, playable?
- Why does Sega drop the recurrers and build relationships between Sonic and one-shots, rather than developing Tails, Knuckles, and Blaze (the only good ones in most people's opinions) because of the Loads and Loads of Characters? Making oneshots rather than developing Tails, Knuckles, and Blaze (and improving on the hated ones) is expanding the cast.
07:32:41 PM Feb 20th 2011
Alright, I'll give it a shot.
- It's probably because there isn't a Mario series equivalent for Rouge, and, well, they just want the main villains of both series playable.
- Because the "one-shots" have specific roles in whatever plot they're in that would probably be consider OOC for the "recurring character" if they had it instead? To be honest, this isn't something I'd call a "really big complaint".

Rosalina's not an Anti-Hero, and Waluigi's equivalent is Vector, if I recall correctly.
04:30:01 AM Feb 21st 2011
Dude, its miru. The fact that he/she doesn't make sense is pretty much a given.
07:19:00 AM Feb 21st 2011
Why is Vector Waluigi's counterpart? On the other hand, what about Tiny Kong for a counterpart.
07:22:45 AM Feb 21st 2011
Tiny's not an Anti-Hero, either.

Vis a vis Megaman, would the lack of a Classic/X transition point *really* qualify as a Wall Banger? After all, if they did provide such a point, it'd mean the end of the Classic series. So you'd either not have any new Mega Man classic games again ( probably undesired ), or you'd get some kludge of a continuation anyway that ignores said transition ( definitely undesired ).

Waitwait, is someone trying to restart the whole "BAWWWWW SAMUS GO BSOD WHE SHE SEE RIDLEY" I would too if I saw a dragon that I blew to bits and whose corpse was left ona planet that blew up at the end of the game.
03:50:57 PM Nov 15th 2010
Well, since the JBM page for Other M is locked, they had to whine about it somewhere. :/
04:05:08 PM Nov 15th 2010
They can't exactly expect Samus to suddenly dance the Georgi Koskov I TOLD YOU Dance at the sight of him, can they? I mean, Ridley was definitely killed on Zebes, Zebes blew up, taking the remains of Ridley, Kraid, Mother Brain and Phaaze knows how many creatures with it. If I encountered a dragon-pterodactyl thing that I knew was dead and cremated in a supernova, I'd just as likely shit my pants as well.

I say just give it up. They're never going to rest, and there's no point arguing with someone who bitches about something on the internet. Let them whine here, where it can be safely ignored.

It's considered a wallbanger because it's inconsistent with the rest of the series. Ridley was "definitely killed" once in the manga, once in Zero Mission, once in Prime, and once in Corruption. Therefore, Samus' reaction is unusual and not consistent with her previous reactions. The scene is also poorly explained, despite being a pivotal moment in the game's story. That's why the scene is considered a Wallbanger. If you disagree... That's fine. Wallbangers are subjective. I disagree with a LOT of what I see on the Dethroning Moment of Suck/Wallbanger pages. But like you, I know not to delete them because of my bias. If you still think the scene does not fulfill the requirements for Wallbanger, tell me why. EDIT: Wait, why are you even talking about the Ridley scene? The current Other M example doesn't even list it.
10:54:45 PM Dec 22nd 2010
The Ridley entry has been deleted and added back a couple of times over the past several months.
07:41:29 AM Jan 24th 2011
Scardoll, Ridley has only died once and that was in Super Metroid. If you have proof to support you're claims then pleas feel free to post it.
12:45:28 AM Feb 3rd 2011
There's a reasonable justification for the scene. As Ether said, Ridley only died in Super Metroid. His remains were on a planet that, as we all knew, blew up. As far as Samus knew, that was it, stuck on a planet blowing up would naturally preclude any chance of anybody being able to resurrect him in some way shape or form.

Hell, the very first cutscene has Samus saying that she knows that Ridley, her nemesis, is dead and stardust. The girl had closure. And then he shows up again, which in her mind is impossible. Not unlikely, not in the realm of possibility, but impossible, and when something outright impossible happens, that's going to throw you off, and when that impossible thing that happens is your nemesis who ate your parents, killed your hometown, and is responsible for the biggest trauma in your life, that's going to freak you out.

Would my own example count as a Scrappy Mechanic?:
- Flareon has remianed the Tier-Induced Scrappy of the eeveelutions since Pokémon Red and Blue, where it was unable to take advantage of its monstrous (physical) Attack because of its Fire-typing and pathetic physical movepool. In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, however, the physical-special split of typings has resulted in a powerful physical Fire move known as Flare Blitz. Because Flareon tied with Ho-oh for the highest Attack of all Fire-types, not to mention the move had his name was on it, it was sure to throw Flareon the bone he truly needed. As of Pokémon Black and White, Flareon has been denied Flare Blitz for the fourth time in a row.
