Just out of curiosity, it's fairly obvious that Haruhi can hear at least some of Kyon's thoughts. It's happened a whole lot. Anyone have any theories on how she can do this? I can't seem to formulate one.

My best theory is that she's subconsciously wishing to hear his thoughts, and then failing to realize that he's not actually saying these things, just thinking them.
