Are WM Gs added by the original fanfic author even legit? Wouldn't they know the outcome of things already?

They don't have any more or less editing rights to the page. Long as they treat it like everyone else does (so they can't confirm/joss guesses here alone; the info has to be outside the wiki), it should be fine, though I don't see why they'd want to.

Oh, ok. Well, for this page, the author (Death Note Fan) put a theory and put "confirmed" underneath, would that still count?

I wouldn't think so, unless the info confirming it has happened in the story. In this case chapter 10 was published before the guess was made, so while a little odd I guess it can stay; what do you think? If it was used as a way to declare Word of God, that would need to be cut.

Hmmm. I personally think it's odd to put a theory and put "confirmed" while you're the author (the edit was done on Aug. 29). When was Chap. 10 published?

The reviews section for the fanfic has a review published on 8/10/12 for Chapter 10, so it must have existed before the edit was made.

Ohhh. Well that makes more sense, I suppose.
