Whoa, wait, crap. Apparently those symbols are supposed to make the o have a certain accent above it. But on the title itself, instead of the o it's the symbols and numbers.

The official localization used by both Aksys Games and Sentai Filmworks is "Hakuoki," without the special character.

Is there anything that can be done about the title of this article? Because when I go to it, instead of being "Hakuouki", it's "Hakuōki".
