Good point, honestly. I mean, some may even consider the Side Stories to be their own unique continuity- they add up to the length of about half the original game, after all.

Anyone know any straight examples of the Visual Novel Tropes that Doki Doki Literature Club is supposedly bashing? I cannot find a visual novel where a kind-hearted protagonist can pursue a childhood friend or other cute girls in a school setting anywhere, despite the fact that this game is apparently making fun of ubiquitious tropes. Everything I find, like School Days, has some horrible subversion, or else a totally different premise.

TV Tropes is for Tropes-thus the title. Negative opinions are for the clearly marked "Review" page on each work's page. You can put whatever long hate speeches you want about the game in there for people to read. Don't ruin the main page by deleting it all for no reason- because people want to read about Tropes when they click on the page that should have Tropes on it.

Dude, control yourself. I don't like DDLC either, and I actually share the same opinion as you about it being overrated, but don't vandalize stuff, and respect other people too. How'd you feel if someone went around, vandalizing Layton pages? (assuming you're a pretty big Layton fan here. If not you've got an odd choice of username) Act like an adult, or a teenager, or whatever age you are, not a child (and if you ARE a child, what the heck are you doing on here in the first place)
