Isn't it time we change this from Video Game to Franchise?
Hide / Show RepliesDo we have three mediums? If not, absolutely not.
By my count, it's just Video Game/ and Anime/, so I don't think so.
I've reverted your redirect and cutlisted the Franchise/ page; if I'm wrong we can just simply remake it but if not I wanted to nip that in the bud before it creates more work.
And if you do move it, make sure to at least change the indexing. In not doing so you made reverting this easy, but if I'm wrong make sure to follow through.

Things like Migrations are there, but I'm not sure if that's where we go "I'm moving this to a Franchise sub. Anyone in?"
There have been multiple official SRW manga (though they aren't currently listed on the page) and it's also had a number of toy and figure lines, if you consider that a "medium". It is pretty clearly a media franchise in Japan.
Right, except Franchise/ pages are only for franchises that we have works pages in three or more mediums.

Based on the (sparse) wording, it seems like it's divided between gameplay tropes and story tropes, but if so, that's A: Irregular and B: Counter-productive since people keep putting tropes in the wrong section, then.

Prepare to extend the overused joke! There's the Korean War For Eustrath.
Edited by AceOfScarabs The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Call me crazy but after growing up on SRW 3 (Super famicom) for several years each modern game seems easy now.
I mean that was boot camp for me apparently. I just got so used to seeing two or three more mook rushes before the episode finish.
Alpha is fun as hell but I liked having it where each of my characters could kill many enemies.
Why did half the series list and all the trope examples get deleted? I assume it was a mistake; if no one tells me differently I'm going to restore it all in a few hours.
We claim the land for the highlord, God bless the land and the hiiighlooord! Hide / Show RepliesI thought that, since a curator did it, it might have been some intermediate step to splitting up the page or something. In retrospect that doesn't really seem too likely, so I went ahead and restored everything.
We claim the land for the highlord, God bless the land and the hiiighlooord!Well,i have a little question fellow tropers,if i was going to play this series (i want to play it from start, but the number of games is absurd) ,what game i have to play first? And in what order?
Hide / Show RepliesI'd play the OG Games. OG and OG 2 in that order to get a handle on the system first.
Then try the fan-translated Alpha Gaiden. One of the best of the series and one of the hardest. From there...
I went to W for the number of series I knew from it and a decent menu Translation patch that's available for it.
Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.Nevermind.

Here's something new to discuss. In regards of the handheld titles, we get Super Robot Wars Advance, Super Robot Wars Reversal, Super Robot Wars Destiny and Super Robot Wars Judgment...
So why is it that other SRW that has their initials still had their names not expanded? This is what we know so far:
So my question is... how come series like K, L, V, T doesn't get the 'non-acronym' title treatment like A, R, D, J?
