dakinebrah, concerning the Vanguard Cupcake's backstory, where is it you have seen it stated that the riots were among Sentium pilots and not Prosk's?

From what I read of the lore in this article, that's not what's implied.

Historically, Sentium ground forces were advised to keep a look out for the signature heart shaped cockpit and iconic wedge of the H3 Cupcake. Unyielding and relentless, only the royal guard of Prosk high command made use of these monstrosities. All transmissions involving 'Cupcake' were considered to be wild speculation. That all changed after a leaked communication regarding the existence of the Cupcake caused riots among the pilots - they all wanted the Cupcake for their own. Special versions of the H3 Cupcake, known as The Vanguard, were created for rapid, close-range riot control. When the angry mobs start picketing, call out the Vanguard.

After all, why would Sentium pilots start a riot against their own company, wanting a mech used exclusively by Prosk's elite?

I mistook: "Historically, Sentium ground forces were advised to keep a look out for the signature heart shaped cockpit and iconic wedge of the H3 Cupcake. Unyielding and relentless, only the royal guard of Prosk high command made use of these monstrosities."

I thought this was Sentium's goons getting angry that they didn't get some super-elite technological marvel (given that all of Hawken's mechs are implied to be outdated piles of shit), but in retrospect, that was dumb.

Concerning Anyone Can Die, since this is now getting into being an edit war, it does not apply to a oneshot comic. The named characters dying isn't special when they're nearly the only characters, they didn't die at different parts of the story (considering that there are a grand total of two, who die in the same ambush), and they die 5-7 pages after introduction.

On the other hand, they are the focus characters for what little there is of the comic, and then there's the ambusher (he's named as well, and then he gets airstriked).

I'd need to ask a mod or something to weigh in on that.
