Minor point of order with regards to Mongols: yes, the event doomstacks they show up with aren't subject to attrition, but any levies or retinues they raise from their conquered lands do suffer from attrition.

Can we split the tropes into Crusader Kings and Crusader Kings II sections, please?

One of the events that can happen when Ambition is set to "improve Martial" is your character basically walking into a game shop, complete with acne-ridden teenagers. Not sure what trope this qualifies for (if any), as one instance doesn't seem Anachronism Stew worthy.

To be fair, the Ambition event chains do tend to be a bit offbeat in general. For Learning, you try to make a aircraft a few centuries too early.

I would go with Rule Offunny, if there was something to put there.
