I personally really don't think Jade Curtiss from Tales of the Abyss belongs on this list. Once I play the game again, I'd love to write an essay on why I think so, but basically, he expresses remorse several times. I would think that would automatically disqualify him. What I think fits better for his character (mind you, I am not a psychologist by any stretch of the imagination) is a condition called alexithymia. As far as I understand it, it's not an inability to feel emotions, but an inability to describe them. It would explain his not understanding death (through not being able to express the emotions associated with it), acting out when he was younger (that seems to be a feature of this disorder), and generally avoiding any talk when it comes to emotion.

On a side note, people with alexithymia tend to ramble on in their explanations of things, which would also explain why he would hate explaining things and teaching. I'd get frustrated with that aspect of myself, too.

I also think he did form attachments to people, namely Luke fon Fabre and Emperor Peony, by the end of the game. (Well, Peony was already there, but you get the point.)

At the very least, I think this should go under YMMV. But like I said, I haven't played the game in a while, and I'm also not a psychologist. I just don't think Jade expresses the qualities of a sociopath, especially since he sincerely apologizes to Luke at one point for being detached and says the reason he replicated Gelda Nebilim was that he wanted to apologize to her.

(Sorry, Jade's listing as a sociopath has always bugged me since I roleplay him. I don't see him that way.)
