Should we mention the fan-game Genius: The Transgression on this page? I'm still only partially familiar with this franchise as a whole, but it seems like Genius slides easily enough into the rest of the canon to get a mention.

I believe the discussion on that has already occurred (though I'm not sure where) - the consensus, I believe, is that as a fangame, Genius should stay on its own page.

If I'm wrong, of course, someone should correct me

"Hunchback The Lurching"? What, really?

There needs to be some sort of criteria. If you just want to list joke supplements that one guy has made there is a thread for that. I think what has to be listed here in the fangame index are only those that are robust and well-developed enough to be on par with the original gamelines.

I think it falls under no such thing as notability.

One thing I just spotted in the openning section. It says that Mirrors would be the last nWod book published (I think we need a citation needed for this one), and then in the next sentance mentions that new books will be published. Does anyone want to explain to me how that one works?

Re: Lucita

OK, I can see why someone argued for Lucita as a Mary Sue example. She was gorgeous, deadly, and essentially moral. (Or at least as moral as you get in Wo D.) She was both an archon of the Camarilla and a leader of the Sabbat; although not at the same time.

But that's the rub: Her move to leadership of the Sabbat was emphatically designed to de-Sue her as much as possible; multiple authors took pains to make it clear her leadership of the Sabbat was woeful, and that her many talents were pretty much only useful in Lone Wolf territory, which in Vampire is awfully sweet and will raise you to the level of methuselah pawn.

In short, Lucita was a character in danger of Mary Sue status, and whose corporate authors spotted and stopped in time. She's not a good example.

Sweet baby Cthulu, this page is very long. Does anyone think that we could try organizing it into a list of old World Of Darkness tropes, and New World Of Darkness tropes?

Ah... this is by no means the biggest works page on the wiki (I think 40k has that distinction). However, I suppose we could try folderizing alphabetically or something.

I don't think it would be viable to split by old and new, since both share many tropes and various entries are worded either to work with both, or have bullet points for such. I suppose we could try and "prune" tropes present only in 1 of the gamelines and moving them to the appropriate page, but that may take out more than it adds. I dunno, I guess I just don't much mind big pages.
