  • Senseless Sacrifice: Linda alerting Veridian to the usage of her lemur character to stop it from selling beer to children was a courageous and likely difficult thing to do...Except that the "Asian beer commercial" is Japanese, and in Japan they have a product called "Kodomo no Nomimono" (The Kid's Drink), made to look like beer. It's completely nonalcoholic and doesn't even taste the same.

It's not clear whether this is something that is revealed within the show, or just out-of-universe knowledge which means she might have been protesting something that wasn't worth it. If it's the latter, it's not this trope.

I removed it. This clearly wasn't the intent of the episode, since that was never mentioned in the show. Also, the product is "Domo Beer" so it is safe to say that it was alcoholic unless the show says otherwise, which it didn't.
