Pulled this:

  • Shout-Out: Batman calls Superman just after he goes to bed with the warning, "Whatever you do, don't go to sleep."

Since it doesn't say what it's shouting out to. If someone wants to add that, it can go back.

How does one do this anyway?

It would be YMMV.JusticeLeagueS2E5-6OnlyADream (if you want to make it display as "Only A Dream", put the whole thing including the YMMV bit in the pothole), but you can probably add items to the main YMMV.Justice League page.

Yeah, I don't think individual episodes get YMMV pages. I don't know if that's a rule, or if it's just so uncommon for a single episode to have enough items to fill up a page. I lean towards the former, however.

Would Superman's nightmare in "Only a Dream" count as Adult Fear?
06:35:04 AM Aug 2nd 2013
Not even close.

From Adult Fear: Adult Fears are about the things mature, well-adjusted adults generally are concerned about... the audience reaction is still to be scared, but this trope plays down the shock factor of more fantastical horror and plays up the relative realism of more mundane threats.

Power Incontinence is about as far from a "mundane threat" as you can get.

Just so you don't t think I'm a total idiot, I got confused as to how far "Rule of Scary" or various fantastic elements can get into the plot. The underlying fear — of having to watch as someone you love gets hurt, and worse, of being the person responsible — seemed somewhat Adult Fear-ish to me.

Sorry if that was a little rough.

No problem whatsoever. I probably came off more brusque than I intended. Sorry about that.

Yes, the underlying fear is fairly realistic, but most horror tropes are based off of a realistic underlying fear. Your girlfriend being cut in half by a chainsaw wielding zombie has an underlying fear of "losing a loved one" but the unrealistic twist to it makes it not this trope. It's pretty much impossible to work in Superman's situation in a real life situation so... yeah. Definitely a no go.
