If I remember correctly, Regular Show was originally intended for an older (albeit not that much) audience; the first season seems to be heaviest in Radar stuff and things that weren't changed until reruns, this could be why. But I'd like a confirmation before I think about maybe discussing adding something to the page regarding that.

Good lord, if I were to be paid $7.50 an hour to get rid of all the "Are you 'kidding' me?" non-examples, I could retire. Unless convinced otherwise*, I'm going to start working on this page.

  • Which shouldn't be hard to do. [Peter Griffin laugh]. I said, "hard" and "do."

I know I'm not going to be one to convince you otherwise; in fact, please do, since GCPTR is widely misused and overused.

YEAH-YUH, it is! But I mean, there's even a lot of stuff that "didn't even happen," or misremembered dialogue.

Found a lot of, "This episode was rated PG because of all the violence in it, like this," stuff; "by definition," they didn't get crap past the radar. The censors saw it and changed the rating accordingly. And are terms like "sucks" and "blows" and whatnot at the point where the original sexual definition is no longer even really thought of when said in the "it's terrible" meaning? I'd really think they are, but I don't know how most people think.

In "Jinx," I haven't seen Muscle Man naked anywhere, he's wearing pants. BUT, I'm going to wait until it comes out on DVD, they may have just given him some pants in the reruns...

Anyone mind if I delete this?

  • GBF Jr. calls the park workers "scumbags", aka used condoms.

Because, frankly, last I checked the term "scumbag" generally referred to a terrible person. Just because it has a dirty meaning doesn't mean that's what the creators had in mind.

This is the *FIRST* time in my entire life where I have heard of the term "scumbag" as a reference to used condoms. Delete it.

Hey, while I'm busy reminding people that cigars are sometimes just cigars, can I get rid of this?

  • The episode is all about peoples' "pies" and how good or bad they are. Two particularly strong examples- Margaret's pie is incredibly bad and Mordecai doesn't want to have to tell her, and after tasting Eileen's pie, Rigby's face is covered with pie filling (something that didn't happen after they'd tasted any of the other pies).

Because "pie" totally means vagina, right? Vagina testing contests are totally a thing, right?

  • A clear white liquid shoots out of HFG's pie.

Those were GHOSTS. THEY HAD FACES AND EVERYTHING.

Removed most of the notes about episodes being banned in the UK - so far, all episodes up to "Skips vs. Technology" have aired in the UK (except for "In the House"). Just because it's banned in *one* country, doesn't mean it's banned in all of them :).

I've removed some examples from this page because they don't qualify as Getting Crap Past the Radar and now it seems there's some back-and-forth editing. Please stop that and discuss here.

As for the debate concerning Getting Crap Past the Radar, a recent special efforts thread's crowner voted for sticking to clear examples, so stuff that's not obfuscated, not dirty etc are likely to be cut in the near future.

Obfuscation is not necessary for GC Pt R. Many other pages don't care about it.

I think things are getting messy here again. People are assuming more than they should or it's not clear why that event pushes the envelope. I might do a clean-up here soon.

I can't see why any of the things listed as getting past the radar in "Rap it Up" should be there, except maybe having Tyler the Creator as a guest. Does anyone else agree or should they be kept the way they are?

They're all deleted- you needed to look up Tyler in order to learn of his background.
