Enemy Mine: Both Assault and Command feature this situation.
Command NEVER featured this situation. Wolf has no concern for rivalry on that game and was just focused on freeing his team's bounty. Assault only hinted on this, but the longer you played the game, the more you realize that it was more than just that. The only time this trope was shown was during the German Star Fox 64 comic, where Wolf saved Fox from Pigma and Andrew because "they acted against his orders".
