For your consideration.

Donald Mallard, God of Medical Examiners (Dr. Mallard, Ducky)
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: A liver probe, alternately his bowtie
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: The Coroner, Bunny Ears Lawyer, Talking To The Dead, Bow Ties Are Cool, Creepy Mortician
  • Domain: Death, Medicine, Psychiatry, Trivia
  • Allies: Gibbs, Death of the Endless
  • Has the tendancy to monologe about topics barely relevent to what the previous or current conversation.
  • Is often called on in the house of Justice for autopsy before the victim is revived/reincarnated. No one has commented yet if they heard Ducky talking to them while operating.
  • Is considered one of Agent Gibbs' beast assets for making perps sweat in case he ever runs into a dead end.

I'm debating if he's worthy of demigod status, personally.

Is there a god for Skeletons In The Closet? If not, can I suggest Vordred the Paladin Slayer from Adventure Quest Worlds? He was specifically created to kill Artix and become the Champion of Darkness and his skull based armor can absorb all light-based spells. It also help give Daniel Fortesque a good enemy.

I question Maimi being labeled as the Goddess of Early Deaths, yet is hotlinked to Sacrificial Lamb, when she is really more of a Sacrificial Lion. And if there should be a separate god for Sacrificial Lion, I would recommend Eddard Stark from A Song Of Ice And Fire.

Eddard 'Ned' Stark God of Surprise Deaths [[ (Warden of the North, Lord of Winterfell, Hand of the King)
  • Theme Song: House Stark
  • Rank: Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Sigil of House Stark, a Grey Direwolf
  • Alignment: Good
  • Portfolio: Honor Before Reason, Sacrificial Lion, Anyone Can Die
  • Domains: Death, Honor, Fatherhood
  • Followers: The Lords of the North,
  • Allies: Mami Tomoe
  • Enemies:
  • High Priest: Robb Stark
  • Despite having ascended to godhood himself, he still has a godswood in his domain that he prays to. He doesn't see himself worthy of being a god in his own eyes, and still holds the old gods as higher than him.
  • As he was horrified to find that a girl as young as her met a similar fate to him he decided to act as surrogate father to Mami Tomoe. Ned feels that she reminds her of his own daughters

What is the policy for series spoilers on the Pantheon?

3 episodes doesn't seem to be long enough to qualify as one. If Surprise Death has a trope page that's similar, he could get one.

I'd like to propose an idea for a God of Serial Killers. Here's what I have in mind.

Jack The Ripper, God of Serial Killers (The Whitechapel Murderer, Leather Apron, and various identities across The Multiverse)
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: a shadowy man wearing a top hat and cloak.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Potfolio: Unsolved Mysteries, Shrouded In Myth, Left-Handed Killers, NOT Disposable Sex Workers, Historical In-Jokes about Victorian London
  • Domains: Death, Terror, Darkness, Murder
  • The legendary serial killer who once stalked the streets of London at the end of the Nineteenth Century. Now he stalks the grounds of the Pantheon as the God of Serial Killers.
  • No one knows who Jack The Ripper's real idenitity was in Real Life and theories about who he was are numerous. In the pantheon this gave him an extraordinary power, the ability shapeshift into any incarnation of the legend of Jack The Ripper he wants to be. Given the influence he's had, there are many versions of him (or her, or it depending the universe) across The Multiverse to choose from.
  • Dispite his reputation, many of Jack's incarnations are often on the recieving end of an ass-kicking or working as a minor underling to someone else.
"Years from now, people will look back and say I gave birth to the 20th century..." -Jack The Ripper upon ascension

A good fill, but you will need to have mentions of occasionally, he was played for chumps. Like how he, in Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure... gets to be a minor underling of Dio Brando.

Pretty good, but you should also add up why despite all those ass-kicking he got he still retained his Godhood.

I'd like to propose Epsilon as a God of Rebirth by Memory. This is what I have so far.

Epsilon, God of Rebirth by Memory (Leonard Church)
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Greek letter "Epsilon"
  • Allignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Memory, taking levels in kindness, still being a rotten shot with a sniper rifle, a walking Late Arrival Spoiler
  • Domain: Memory, Undead, Robot, Artificial Intelligence
  • Followers: Michael J. Caboose, who helped him ascend to semi-godhood once.
  • Allies: Agent Carolina, Primus and his followers (Epsilon fully accepts his own identity as a robot), Kamina (who likes Epsilon's attitude compared to Alpha's)
  • Enemies: The Director of Project Freelancer, Kyubey, Bernkastel
  • Rivals: Alpha
  • While Epsilon was always the Living Memory of Alpha, he never really ascended until he managed to unlock all of Alpha's memories (even the ones that Alpha doesn't remember).
  • Though he is a Nice Guy, Epsilon does have a Berserk Button in the form of people with a penchant for emotional torture, as they bring back horrible memories. When he gets angry, he starts ranting and grows to a massive size. Since that pushed his friends away once, Epsilon is trying to control it.
  • Since the Incubators are known for harvesting emotion for their goals, and Alpha was fragmented due to an induced despair, Epsilon has a dislike towards the Incubators.
  • Has a rival in Alpha, his original self. The two are scheduled to have a sniper duel in the House of Combat. Don't expect either of them to actually hit the other.

I'll go and add it if nobody protests.

I realize that we haven't gotten a deity for I Let Gwen Stacy Die... Seriously, it's one trope we need a rep for. But what kind of name would it get, one name that doesn't invoke the Trope Namer? "Anguish-causing Deaths"?

And then there's the candidates. I can only think of...

Pitch in your ideas here.

Okay, well I'll ask some of the others and see what they think.

Also, what do you think about the God of Paladins being Artix von Kreiger? If you don't know who he is, in his game he slays undead (and has lots of fun doing so), but in reality he is the Champion of Darkness who can defeat monsters by being an Undead Slayer.

Jade the Necromancer would have a word with him. I mean, not that Jade should take the throne, but just be sure to put Jade in Johann's flavor texts.

I would like to propose an entry for Ridley as The Unkillable. I know we've got Rasputin, Kenny, and Kyosuke for Rasputinian Death, Back From The Dead, and Surviving That, but then Ridley pretty much combines the latter two.

Entry going something like this:

Ridley The Unkillable

EDIT: Added Sigma as a follower. So then, enough bumps to add him?
DAN004
07:05:08 AM Mar 14th 2012
Followers: Sigma (He's known for getting killed in every game and yet surviving all of them and going back in the next game, up until X8. The Virus is what keeping him alive all the time.)

Sigma is pretty much a close contender to Ridley, honestly.

Not sure about him, really... The first time, it was himself, then it's his Heartless, and then it's his Nobody. While they come from one source, they are different from each other.

Information on Nekron:

With the recent events of Blackest Night, what with Nekron's goal of killing the White Entity, the source of all life in DCU, revealed, we probably should up-grade Nekron into full-on Overdeity status, and update his portfolio.
