I'm sorry, but I just don't see any justification whatsover for replacing the introductory quote with the "arrow in the knee" line. Yes, yes it is the biggest gaming meme since the cake was a lie, but to some it's been just as overused the instant the game was released, and it still doesn't automatically qualify it for everything.

Yeah, the meme combination does make an attempt to blend things.

I agree, the other one was far more amusing, and formatted properly, to boot.

Well the Arrow in the knee! Is still the patron saint of game memes itís even got a song by Peter Coffin. Though I get the feeling thatís the problem. Iím not saying Peter Coffin, is the problem. Itís just its inappropriate to have a memorable quote to represent this page... I guess.

Removed this from the other Star Fox examples. I'm not a part of the fandom so I wouldn't know if it's a meme, but trying to make a meme fails 9 times out of 10:

Speaking of a Nintendo franchise, maybe it should get its own page, like Valve did?

The Final Fantasy series (as a whole) has more than enough examples to fill its own page, which could help free up some space on the main Video Games page. Could someone get on that? Super Smash Bros.. seems to be heading in the same direction, although that's debatable.

Any chance Mass Effect 2 had enough examples to get it's own page?

I'm not entirely sure everything there counts as a "meme". For instant, the entire quotation of Mordin's sex talk to the Commander. It was funny, everyone thinks so, gets brought up a lot, but isn't exactly a meme. It's a funny moment that gets brought up a lot. Or "Ugly Shepard". Seriously, if you didn't frequent the BioWare Social Network, would you even hear of him? Or Tali's unmasking. I know a meme is like an inside joke, but it is possible to be too inside. If they are limited mostly to one forum or even one very popular thread, is it really a meme?

True enough.
