Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on ZeroesAndOnes underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:

  • Zeroes And Ones: They're brought up a lot, they are the basis of the title! They are the foundation of the Digimon World, through which all things in it are expressed, though a Jijimon implies the mutation that gave rise to Lord Demon was caused by something else.

"All things are expressed" would fit under Computers Speak Binary, but this is just silly. You can't tell me 01 as short hand for computer code is not a trope.

The Matrix uses it. Tron uses it. This work uses it. That's proof of a trope right there. If anyone found fourteen examples, then it is a page worthy trope, or have the rules on that changed while I wasn't looking?

Edit: To clarify, R2-D2 from Star Wars is also an example of computers speak binary, but is not an example of Zeroes and ones, since his binary is in beeps and whistles. Phyron in Kid Icarus Uprising is an example of zeroes and ones, but not an example of computers speak binary, since he is speaking binary, but is acting as the Mouth of Sauron for an alien Hive Queen rather than a computer. And to reiterate, this is silly. Zeroes and ones is a trope

Sorry for an error in my edit summary. I meant to say "are", not "aren't".
