Cat Dog's example (If I remember correctly) was about Cat believing that his (foster) parents loved Dog more than him, causing him to say "Nobody likes me!", then cutting to a live-action sequence of some children watching the show and saying "Yes we do!".

My point is, what on Earth does it have to do with this trope!
