What's the likely effect of surgically putting bullets into one's skull?

Iron bullet.
Someone with Healing Hands is within arm's reach of the wounded, and their powers have been show to be able to heal any injury short of death.
The iron bullet interferes with the Healing Hands because it's made of iron.
Would pulling the bullet out be a good idea?
