"Escalation of how much is being shown"? There were only two images, total, before the image was removed, and only one of them was really NSFW.

Would it help on the page image issue if I promise never to leave the site again? I realize that this happened while I was gone, but normally I watch my adopted and launched pages for misuse, mistakes, and vandalism like a hawk. I promise that nothing racier than the original image will appear on this page again while I still breathe and have internet access.

Erm, what are you referring to? I haven't seen any activity on this page for the image in months, and all the links for the former images are broken so I don't even know what the dispute was about. Either way, Fast Eddie is the one who seems to have declared "no images", so my best guess is you'd have to take it up on the forums.
On an unrelated note, what do you think of my idea to make an Administrivia page called Page Guardian to describe people who patrol their adopted and launched pages for misuse?

Apparently, because other fanservice tropes have decayed into edit wars over who can add the raciest image, as soon as someone added an inappropriate image it was removed and no other image was allowed out of the fear the same thing would happen here. This only recently came to my attention, since it happened while I was gone and this page doesn't get edited all that much.
I'll see if I can catch his attention here, first, since Eddie is presumably watching the page to make sure no images are added. If he doesn't reply in a week or so I'll try something else.
And sure, Page Guardian is definitely a wiki trope and I wholeheartedly approve. :P I just hope I'm the good kind of page guardian, 'cause some of them get way too overprotective of "their" pages.
